Chris Klodnicki leads the final nine of the 2-7 triple draw championship
The final day of the $10,000 2-7 Triple Draw Championship gets cards in the air this afternoon at 2 p.m.
The original 125 players who entered have been trimmed down to the final nine.
Chris Klodnicki comes into the day with a monster lead and 1,910,000 in chips, as he looks for his first WSOP bracelet. Bracelet-winner Michael Gathy is the only other player over the million mark, with 1,337,000. Three-time bracelet winner John Hennigan is third in chips with 727,000 and two-time bracelet winner JC Tran is fourth with 557,000. High-stakes cash player Abe Mosseri is still alive as well and looks to take home his second bracelet in 2-7 triple draw.
Each player remaining is guaranteed $28,507, but the top spot takes home $320,103 and the jewelry. Levels will be 60 minutes long and there will be breaks after every two levels. There is a scheduled 60-minute dinner break at the end of the sixth level of the day.
