Criteria for Events Included in WSOP Player Standings.
- 1. Tournament Organization Requirements
- Establishment & Recognition : The organization must possess a minimum of three (3) years of history and notable industry recognition.
- Volume and Scale : The organization must host a minimum of 50 events annually, with an average buy-in of $1,000 or higher and an average field size exceeding 100 entries.
- 2. Individual Event Requirements
- Minimum Field Size : The individual event must have a minimum of 150 entries.
- Open Participation : Participation must be open and available to all; restricted or invitational events are not eligible for inclusion.
- Minimum Buy-in Threshold : The official buy-in for the event must be $100 or higher (i.e., events with buy-ins under $100 are excluded).
- Official Status : The event must be a designated main event within the series; side events or satellites are excluded.
