DAY SIX OVERVIEW
From a starting field of 6,598 entrants who started what was the fifth-largest live poker tournament in history, only 27 players still remain in the 2012 WSOP Main Event Championship. OFFICIAL CHIP COUNTS are available on WSOP.com. The current chip leader is Marc-Andre Ladouceur. He is the only player currently with more than 15 million in chips. Only tthree players have more than 10 million -- including Ladouceur, Daniel Strelitz and Roberto Salaburu.

DAY SIX ACTION PLAYS FROM 97 STARTERS DOWN TO 27 SURVIVORS
Another 70 players are now gone. The 14-hour session of Day Six reduced the field size from 97 players at the start of the day down to just 70 survivors. Monday’s session will play from 27 down to the final table of nine players.
DAY SIX -- NOTABLE DEVELOPMENTS
Nicco Maag (Karlsruhe, Germany) had the chip lead five minutes before the Day Six dinner break. However, the night session was a disaster for the German player. Although he is still alive, he is ranked in 27th place out of 27 players.
There are three German players still in the field, which is second in number only to the United States.
Amonon Filippi, the longtime tournament poker veteran from New York City, finished in 39th place.
Fabio Gonzalez (Montevideo, Uruguay) became the highest Main Event finisher in history from the nation of Uruguay -- by finishing 45th in the Main Event.
Gold bracelet winner Leo Wolpert (Fairfax, VA) finished in 50th place.
Sam Holden (Sussex, UK), the last remaining member of last year's November Nine finalists, finished in 55th place.
Gold bracelet winner David "ODB" Baker finished in 56th place.
Daniel Strelitz, from Torrance, CA seized the chip lead moment before the last hand before dinner. He rocketed to 9 million in chips, becoming the first player to hit that mark. He ended the day ranked second in chips.

Gaelle Baumann (France), who was chip leader after Day Two, currently ranks 20th.
Two female players remain alive – Elizabeth Hille (Norway) and Gaelle Baumann (France). Early on Day SIx, both Marcia Topp (USA) and Vanessa Selbst (USA) were eliminated.
None of the 36 former November Nine finalists remain alive. Sam Holden (UK) and Eric Buchman (USA) were both eliminated on this day.
