WSOP Circuit series returns to IP Biloxi, on Mississippi's Gulf Coast

December 4, 2018 (Biloxi, MS) - The World Series of Poker Circuit returns on Thursday to Mississippi's Gulf Coast and the IP Casino Resort Spa.

Included among the stop's packed 12 days are a $400 buy-in, multi-flight event with a $150,000 guarantee, a $400 Monster Stack event, and the Circuit IP Biloxi $1,700 main event with its own $400,000 prizepool guarantee.

The first of the stop's 13 official ring events begins at 11 am on Thursday, in the turbo-paced "Double Stack" Event #1 Next up, and dominating the stop's first weekend, is Event #2, $400 No-Limit Hold'em. Event #2 offers three separate starting flights (two on Friday, one on Saturday), and offers a $150,000 guaranteed prize pool; action in this major preliminary event ends on Sunday.

The popular $400 Monster Stack tourney, Event #8, begins at 11 am on Wednesday, December 12 and offers a $75,000 guaranteed prizepool. And dominating the second weekend of the IP Biloxi stop is Event #10, the $1,700 Main Event, which has separate starting flights on Friday, December 14 and Saturday, December 15. Last year, Bartlett, TN's Kyle Cartright topped a 343-player field to win his seventh career Circuit ring, along with $118,332.

Two additional rings will be awarded in a pair of Seniors events that round out the Circuit IP Biloxi slate.

All that action serves to frame the WSOP Circuit Thunder Valley main event; Event #11, $1,700 No-Limit Hold'em, offers two separate starting flights. Flight 11A starts at noon on Friday, September 14, while Flight 11B begins at noon on Saturday, September 15. 

WSOP Circuit IP Biloxi will offer 15 ring events over its 12 total days of play, including 12 open events plus the $250 Seniors NLHE (Thursday, September 13). Three non-hold'em events are on this Circuit stop's slate: Event #4: $400 H.O.R.S.E. begins on Monday, September 10; Event #5, $400 Omaha Hi-Lo 8-or-Better begins on Tuesday, September 11; and Event #8, $400 Pot-Limit Omaha, starts on Wednesday, September 12.

The winner of this year's main event and the series' overall Casino Champion both earn free seats into next year’s Global Casino Championship. That Casino Champion honor is awarded to the player who earns the most overall points in the stop's 13 points-earning ring events.
