Serving as the inaugural host of Part Two of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit season, Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, Oklahoma, has wrapped up yet another action-packed WSOP Circuit series.

Hosting 18 WSOP Circuit ring events and generating over $3.4 million in total prize pools, Choctaw resumed its streak of success by offering poker players in Oklahoma and Texas juicy prizes to compete for.

The featured event of every WSOP Circuit series, the $1,700 WSOP Circuit Main Event at Choctaw boasted a $1 million prize pool guarantee, which was surpassed when the 968 total entrants generated a $1,301,998 total prize pool.

Going the distance to lock up the $241,412 top prize plus their first career Circuit ring, Midland, Texas’s Alex Cruz is the newest WSOP Circuit Main Event champion to be crowned at Choctaw and will be forever enshrined with a banner inside the Grand Theater.

Taking down the $300 buy-in Double Stack event recently held at Choctaw, Rodney Spriggs added to his WSOP Circuit ring collection, securing his fourth career ring plus the $21,059 top prize.

2020 Choctaw WSOP Circuit Main Event Champion Dustin Schoonover wins Event #11

While Dustin Schoonover won one of the most prestigious WSOP Circuit rings a player can win by finishing first in the 2020 Choctaw WSOP Circuit Main Event, since then, he has still been on the hunt for ring #2.

Ending the drought, Schoonover defeated Mark Sherwood heads-up in Event #11: #300 No-Limit Hold’em to secure ring #2 and $13,121.

Jarrod Yandrisovitz achieves a new “high score” in the Gargantuan

Offering the second biggest top prize of the series, the $300 No-Limit Hold’em Gargantuan had a guaranteed prize pool fitting of its name, ensuring players at least $500 thousand would be up for grabs.

Scoring the largest cash of his poker career, Pflugerville, Texas’ Jarrod Yandrisovitz won the Gargantuan to score $91,698 and his first WSOP Circuit ring.
