Las Vegas, Nevada (July 31, 2026) - We are only a few sleeps away from the finale of the biggest poker event of the year!

Starting on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 9 PM EST, the first day of the 2026 WSOP Main Event Final Table will be aired on ESPN, the worldwide leader in sports.

Battling not only for the $10 million top prize, each of the Final Nine players will also compete for the coveted 2026 WSOP Main Event bracelet and the opportunity to etch their names into poker history.

Before the action gets underway on Monday, learn a little bit more about each of the nine remaining players in the 2026 WSOP Main Event.

Lucas Jumalon (United States)

Chip Stack: 194,000,000 (129 Big Blinds)

Lucas Jumalon is an American poker player from Spokane, Washington, and serves as chip leader heading into the 2026 WSOP Main Event final table.

A recent graduate from Grand Canyon University, 22-year-old Jumalon developed not only his skills but also his love for the game in home games and with guidance from his father, Butch Jumalon.

Showcasing his fearless, aggressive style throughout the 2026 WSOP Main Event, Jumalon has become one of the breakout stars of the 2026 WSOP and looks to leverage his chip lead to bring the WSOP Main Event bracelet back to the Evergreen State.

Having more than double the chip stack of the next closest player, Jumalon is the man to beat for any player hoping to become the next world champion.

Rami Hammoud (Canada)

Chip Stack: 79,000,000 (53 Big Blinds)

Canadian Rami Hammoud is a tournament grinder whose career spans over a decade.

Prior to his deep run in the 2026 WSOP Main Event, Hammoud’s most notable poker accomplishment came in 2023 at Playground Poker Club, where he won their C$1,150 No-Limit Hold'em March Million Main Event for a C$166,000 ($123,386) score.

Already locking up at least $1,000,000 by reaching the WSOP Main Event Final Table, Hammoud has already far surpassed his highest career cash, and being second in chips, is in a great position to make even more.

Jamie Shaevel (United States)

Chip Stack: 56,000,000 (37 Big Blinds)

Jamie Shaevel is an American poker player from Chicago, Illinois, who is regular on the Midwestern poker circuit. 

While primarily a cash game player, Shaevel’s poker format of choice has not kept him from past success in the WSOP Main Event, having cashed a total of 7 times throughout his poker career.

Shaevel has saved his deepest run for the 2026 WSOP Main Event, where he has already far surpassed the largest tournament cash of his poker career and looks to make it even bigger, being third in chips.

Greg Mueller (Canada)

Chip Stack: 48,500,000 (32 Big Blinds)

Greg Mueller is a Canadian professional poker player and former professional hockey player with an accomplished career on the felt. Born in Switzerland, Mueller played professional hockey in Germany for nearly a decade, and transitioned to the poker world upon retirement.

Mueller is no stranger to success at the WSOP; he sits as one of the most experienced poker players at the WSOP Main Event final table, having three WSOP bracelets to his name.

The biggest achievement (thus far) of Mueller’s poker career came at the 2009 WSOP, where he won two WSOP bracelets within 11 days of each other in the $10,000 Limit Hold’em Event and the $1,500 Limit Hold’em Shootout.

Mueller’s most recent WSOP bracelet victory came in 2019, when he won the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Event for bracelet #3.

Michael Gagliano (United States)

Chip Stack: 46,500,000 (31 Big Blinds)

Michael Gagliano is a professional poker player from New Jersey who has been in the poker tournament scene for nearly two decades.

Gagliano is best known for capturing his first WSOP gold bracelet in 2016, winning the $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em Event at The Rio.

Primarily an online tournament player, Gagliano has won two additional WSOP bracelets and a WSOP Circuit ring in online events since his first bracelet victory in 2016, with the biggest tournament score of his career already locked up in this year’s Main Event.

Mario Boos (France)

Chip Stack: 44,000,000 (29 Big Blinds)

French poker player Mario Boos had never cashed the WSOP Main Event prior to 2026, and has already made his first one a career-defining one.

Already locking up $1,000,000 by reaching the WSOP Main Event Final Table, Boos has far eclipsed his previous best tournament score and looks to lock up even more winnings as he sits with one of the average stacks.

With several WSOP cashes to his name, Boos primarily plays events with buy-ins below $1,000, making his run in the 2026 WSOP Main Event a true career changer.

Lauri Saaskilahti (Finland)

Chip Stack: 37,500,000 (25 Big Blinds)

Lauri Saaskilahti is a Finnish professional poker player known to be a regular on the European circuit while residing in Spain.

One of several poker players seeking his first WSOP bracelet in the 2026 WSOP Main Event, Saaskilahti already has much to be proud of, far surpassing his previous best tournament cash, having already secured a $1,000,000 payday.

Making history for his homeland, Saaskilahti’s final table appearance in the 2026 WSOP Main Event serves as the deepest run and biggest score a Finnish player has had in the WSOP Main Event.

Han Feng (United States)

Chip Stack: 25,000,000 (17 Big Blinds)

Based out of Texas, Han Feng is a professional poker player who battled back from being the shortest stack remaining to reach the 2026 WSOP Main Event Final Table.

With titles across the United States and even a tournament victory at the Asian Poker Tour in Taipei City, Feng has two WSOP Circuit rings to his name, including a WSOP Circuit Main Event win in Tulsa in 2024.

While being one of the shortest stacks remaining in the tournament, Feng has already displayed his ability to battle back and will look to do so again next week.

Evagoras Evagorou (Cyprus)

Chip Stack: 22,500,000 (15 Big Blinds)

Evagoras Evagorou comes into the 2026 WSOP Main Event Final Table as the short stack and looks to not only win his first major poker tournament title but also become the first Cypriot native to win the WSOP Main Event.

Evagorou is already the first native of Cyprus to reach the WSOP Main Event Final Table, doing so in his Main Event debut.

If Evagorou scores several double-ups and contends for the 2026 title, he will have a chance at becoming his country’s all-time money leader.
