Nassau, Bahamas (December 4, 2025) - Poker tables have been assembled, the chairs set, and most importantly, poker players have arrived to help kick off WSOP Paradise 2025.
With every passing hour, more poker players arrive at Atlantis Paradise Bahamas to compete for WSOP bracelets and potentially life-changing scores. The first two events of the series, the WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty and the $75,000 Triton Pot-Limit Omaha tournament, are already drawing impressive crowds and some of the world’s best players.
Ari Engel helps kick off the WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty
Doing the honors and announcing “Shuffle Up and Deal” for the first day of events, there was no better candidate than WSOP Circuit legend Ari Engel.
With 20 WSOP Circuit rings, 4 WSOP bracelets, and over $9 million in live tournament earnings, it seemed fitting for Engel to do the honors of helping start the finale of the 2025 WSOP Circuit season.
Introduced by the International WSOP Tournament Director Andy Tillman, Engel congratulated all of the players in attendance on winning what he declared to be the most prestigious trophy in poker: a WSOP Circuit ring.
Just a few hours into play, 471 players have already entered Flight A of the WSOP Circuit Mystery Bounty. Boasting a $5 million prize pool guarantee, the 2025 WSOP Circuit Championship is set to be the largest in the event’s decorated history.
Won by the likes of Mike “The Mouth” Matusow and Huck Seed, we will see which player this year adds their name to the decorated list of poker players who have claimed one of the most prestigious titles in poker.
After today’s initial flight, two more Day One flights will take place for the WSOP Circuit Championship. Flight B is set to begin tomorrow, Friday, December 5th, and the final flight will take place on Saturday, December 6th, both at 12 PM EST.
Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey highlight a star-studded field for the $75,000 Triton Pot-Limit Omaha
While Flight A of the WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty takes place, only a few feet away, some of the game’s best are battling it out in the $75,000 Triton Pot-Limit Omaha event.
A few of the many recognizable faces that have been spotted in the field include Jesse Lonis, Alex Foxen, Ben Lamb, and Yuri Dzivielevski.
Despite being two of the most decorated and respected poker players in history, both Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey have already been eliminated from the event, although Kid Poker is looking to run deep with his second bullet.
