Las Vegas, Nevada (November 3, 2026) - The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit crowned two Main Event champions on Monday, November 2, as Hamid Izadi successfully defended his title at Caesars Southern Indiana and Scott Stewart captured the championship at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe.

Both $1,700 No-Limit Hold'em Main Events attracted strong fields, bringing another memorable chapter to the 2026 WSOP Circuit season.

Hamid Izadi Goes Back-to-Back at Caesars Southern Indiana

Hamid Izadi made history at Caesars Southern Indiana, becoming the first player to win consecutive Main Event titles at the venue after topping a field of 282 entries. The victory earned Izadi $93,060 and his 11th WSOP Circuit gold ring.

Izadi entered the final day of competition as the chip leader and maintained his advantage throughout the final table. He eventually faced longtime friend Robert Hankins heads-up, with the two experienced Circuit regulars battling for the championship.

Despite Hankins' efforts to mount a comeback, Izadi secured the victory after calling Hankins' final all-in with ace-ten against ace-six. Both players made two pair on the final board, but Izadi's superior kicker secured the pot and the championship.

The victory was particularly significant for Izadi, marking his fourth WSOP Circuit Main Event title. He becomes just the second player in Circuit history to accomplish the feat, joining Maurice Hawkins. Izadi's latest triumph also puts him among an exclusive group of players to successfully defend a Circuit Main Event championship.

Hankins finished runner-up for $63,040, while Brad Albrinck collected $43,680 for third place.

Scott Stewart Wins at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe

Meanwhile, Scott Stewart emerged victorious at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, navigating a field of 435 entries to claim the $125,279 first-place prize and his ninth WSOP Circuit gold ring.

Stewart defeated Tyler Parker heads-up to secure the championship, with a pivotal river call helping turn the tide in his favor. Facing an all-in bet from Parker, Stewart made the call with a full house, making the correct play and building a commanding chip lead, eventually guiding him to victory.

Parker finished second, while Harshvardhan Baghel rounded out the top three. WSOP Circuit legend Ari Engel also made a deep run, finishing fourth.

With two more Main Event champions crowned, the WSOP Circuit continues its march toward the highly anticipated WSOP Paradise 2026 festival at Baha Mar in The Bahamas.
