5 March 2019 (Hammond, IN) - The WSOP Circuit stop at Horseshoe Hammond is done and ten players became new gold ring winners. There were also three players who won their second rings, Edward Dixon, Bryant Miller, and Boulos Estafanous. The event started off with a bang gathering nearly 2,600 entries for the opening event and giving $111,887 to Mike Sabbia along with his fist gold ring.

Another first-time ring winner was Main Event Champion Elik Vodovoz. This 72-year-old retired dentist $294,290 after winning his main event buyin in a satellite here at the Horseshoe. He capped off a very fast Day 3 by defeating Daniel Hanauer heads up. The main event returned with 17 players on Day 3 and it took only about four hours to play to a winner.

Jason Crews made a late push for Casino Champion with a deep run in Event #14 $100 Bounty No-Limit Hold’em. Crews, the winner of Event #6 the $400 Monster Stack and another first-time ring winner, fell short and Peter Kelly took the Casino Championship with four cashes. Kelly finished fourth in the main event, and also had a third, sixth, and a 12th place finish.
