Klemens Roiter opted to open-shove the button with his massive chip lead and David Uvaydov found a paint card to call all-in, finding himself ahead in the following preflop showdown.

David Uvaydov: K♥2♣ All in
Klemens Roiter: J♠3♦

Roiter was behind but jumped into the lead with the 10♠5♥3♥ flop as he improved to a pair of treys. Nothing changed with the Q♠turn and the 2♥ river was too little too late for Uvaydov, who came up one spot shy of victory. His consolation is a heavy payday of $802,346 but Roiter will be the one to pose for the winner shots shortly.

Stay tuned for a recap of today's action and the winner reaction of the newest WSOP champion from Austria.

David Uvaydov limped in with the J♠6♠and Klemens Roiter checked back the Q♣10♦ from the big blind. On the 8♣7♣3♥flop, both players checked and saw the 9♥on the turn for free to pick up straight draws.

Roiter now bet 18,000,000 and Uvaydov called. Neither player improved with the 2♣ river and Roiter fired a huge bet of 90,000,000 to take down the pot uncontested, though Uvaydov gave it some thought to call with his jack-high.

"Ten-five?" Uvaydov asked and Roiter flashed one of his cards before his opponent mentioned he was contemplating an "insane call".

Klemens Roiter limped in from the button with Q♠3♦ and David Uvaydov checked back the A♣4♠ from the big blind. On a flop of K♦6♦3♥, Uvaydov check-called for 6,000,000 and they checked the 2♠ turn to the Q♦ on the river.

Uvaydov checked once more and Roiter made it 20,000,000 to go for two thirds of the pot. What followed was the check-raise to 80,000,000 by Uvaydov with his ace-high bluff and Roiter called after brief consideration to win the big pot, regaining the chip lead in the progress.

Roiter Takes the Lead

Klemens Roiter raised to 13,000,000 on the button with A♣K♠ and David Uvaydov defended in the big blind with Q♥9♦.

The flop came J♥2♠Q♦ and Uvaydov check-called Roiter's bet of 11,000,000.

On the 5♦ turn, Uvaydov checked again and Roiter fired out a bet of 40,000,000. Uvaydov thought for a moment before making the call.

With a sizable pot building, the river landed the K♥, improving Roiter to top pair. Uvaydov checked once more and Roiter counted out a stack of chips before announcing, "I'm all in."

Uvaydov was clearly faced with a tough decision, and took some time to think before giving up his hand.

Roiter Doubles Again to Nearly Even the Stacks

When it was his turn to act first, he pushed all-in from the button and Klemens Roiter snap-called for the last 112,000,000.

Klemens Roiter: Q♥Q♦ All in
David Uvaydov: A♠2♣

The rail of Uvaydov was calling for an ace [Barry], but the 10♣10♠3♠J♥Q♠ board kept Roiter ahead all the way for the Austrian to double with a full house.

Roiter Drops Into the Danger Zone

Klemens Roiter limped in holding the 10♥8♠ and David Uvaydov then raised to 16,000,000 with the 9♥3♦. Both players checked the Q♥8♣4♥ flop and Uvaydov took the lead on the 9♠ turn. The action went check, check, once more and that led them to the 4♣ on the river.

Uvaydov then pushed all-in and Roiter folded, seeing his stack plummet into the danger zone.

From the next button, Uvaydov jammed the K♠4♦ and Roiter folded the 9♠2♠ in the big blind.

Full House but onl Small Pot for Roiter

Having fallen further behind, Klemens Roiter was then in the big blind with the 8♦3♣and David Uvaydov limped the button with the 6♦5♠ as they headed to the 8♥3♦2♠ flop. Roiter check-called for 5,000,000 and the 3♠ turn was checked by both. Uvaydov was then relieved not to bluff the 10♣ river when he was shown the full house.

"Why no bluff?" Roiter asked and Uvaydov replied "that is a good question".

The flop came A♦4♥7♠ and both players checked to the 8♦ turn. Roiter led out with an overbet of 25,000,000 with his straight and Uvaydov quickly folded.

The next hand, the duo saw a flop of 6♥10♣5♥ in a limped pot. Uvaydov checked with 6♠5♦ and Roiter bet 5,000,000 with 9♥8♦. Uvaydov bumped it up to 17,000,000 and Roiter called.

The turn landed the A♥ and Uvaydov continued with a bet of 25,000,000. Roiter called and the river brought the 6♣.

Uvaydov Wins a Big One; Roiter Jams on the Turn

Klemens Roiter limped the button with K♣3♠ and David Uvaydov raised to 21,000 with the K♠J♠, picking up a call by Roiter. On the 10♠9♥4♠ flop, Uvaydov had a gutshot and flush draw but checked, Roiter bet 16,000,000 and Uvaydov called.

The 4♦ on the turn went check, check, and Uvaydov then bet the K♥ river for massive 76,000,000 to receive a quick call. Uvaydov scooped the large pot and cemented a large lead in heads-up all of a sudden.

Uvaydov then limped the button with the 9♦7♣ and then called a raise to 16,000,000 by Roiter with the K♥9♥. The Q♣10♥8♥ flop provided draws to both players and Roiter bet for 12,000,000, Uvaydov called.

Following the 4♣ turn, Roiter pushed all-in for 77,500,000 and forced out his opponent.

Ashish Gupta Eliminated in 3rd Place
($604,277)

Ashish Gupta limped in from the small blind and David Uvaydov raised it up to 12,000,000. After brief consideration, Gupta pushed all-in for 86,000,000 and Uvaydov instantly called.

Ashish Gupta: Q♥J♠ All in
David Uvaydov: A♥Q♠

The Aussie needed to come from behind again to avoid elimination like he had done very early into the final table already. However, this time there was no escaping on the K♦Q♣6♣5♦6♥ and that spelled the end for Gupta.

Having come into the final last in chips, the Pot-Limit Omaha and mixed game specialist laddered up all the way to third place for a payday of $604,277 - his far best cash in a live poker tournament. The tournament is now in heads-up and a short break follows before Uvaydov and Klemens Roiter will battle for the WSOP gold bracelet.

Ivan Ruban Eliminated in 4th Place
($458,090)

David Uvaydov moved all in from the small blind to put Ivan Ruban at risk in the big blind. Ruban looked down at his cards and quickly called for just over 60,000,000.

Ivan Ruban: A♥9♦ All in
David Uvaydov: 3♥3♣

Uvaydov's rail could be heard rooting for the 3♠ or 3♦to appear and the flop of 6♠J♣3♦ brought just that.

Ruban was drawing dead and the board ran out K♦, 5♦ to end his impressive tournament run.

Roiter Keeps Adding Chips

Klemens Roiter flopped a set of deuces but got no value from Ivan Ruban, who had missed the flop entirely.

Ruban then limped the 9♦6♥ and Roiter checked with J♠4♦ from the big blind to see the Q♦J♦J♣ flop. Once Ruban checked, Roiter bet 4,000,000 with his trips and won the next pot.

Ruban Earns a Double Through Uvaydov

Ivan Ruban had raised for a large portion of his short stack several times and did so again for 13,000,000 with fewer than that behind. He got Klemens Roiter and Ashish Gupta to fold, while David Uvaydov in the big blind pondered about his decision for quite some time. Ultimately, Uvaydov pulled the trigger and moved all-in for Ruban to call.

Ivan Ruban: 7♠7♦ All in
David Uvaydov: K♠6♠

The A♣4♦3♠8♦J♠ board awarded another short-stacked double for Ruban to leap back into contention.
