Paulo Drummond kicked things off with a pot raise, and Ferenc Deak made the call.

On the K♣6♦8♠ flop, Deak checked. Drummond bet pot for 11,200,000, and Deak responded with a pot raise, followed by the all-in of Drummond and a call, and the cards were in their backs.

Drummond was leading with a set of eights, but Deak had two pair and a few outs. The 5♦ didn't change anything, but the K♥ on the river gave Deak a full house, and Drummond was sent to the rail as the runner-up.

Drummond Takes Two From Deak

In the final hands of the previous level, Ferenc Deak limped in on the button, and Paulo Drummond checked in the big blind. Drummond check-called Deak's bet on the 7♦4♥6♣ flop, after which the 8♦ turn and 9♠ river were checked to showdown. Drummond tabled 10♠7♠4♠3♠ and won the pot.

The next hand, Drummond raised his button to 3,600,000. Deak called in the big blind, and check-called when Drummond bet 8,400,000 on the 7♥7♠6♥ flop.

Deak also checked the 3♠ turn, but he quickly folded when Drummond instantly piled in a bet of 20,000,000.

Drummond Turns Up the Heat and Gets Paid

Ferenc Deak completed his small blind, and Paulo Drummond responded with a pot-sized raise to 4,100,000. Deak made the call, and the two went to a flop of 7♥6♠K♠, which they both checked.

The 5♦ hit the turn, and Drummond seized the initiative with a bet of 8,400,000. Deak called once again, taking them to the 9♠ river.

Both players checked it down, and Drummond revealed K♣Q♦9♦8♣ for a king-high straight, enough to drag in the pot.

Carlos De Lima Eliminated in 3rd Place ($164,090)

Ferenc Deak raised his small blind to 3,600,000. Carlos De Lima called in the big blind, facing a bet of 8,400,000 from Deak on the 9♥5♦️10♥ flop. De Lima had about double that in his stack, and he put it all in.

Deak quickly called off as the cards hit the felt.

Deak's aces remained best on the 7♣2♣ runout as De Lima saw his outs miss. De Lima wished his former opponents good luck before he exited the tournament area to pick up his six-figure payout.

Quan Tran Eliminated in 4th Place ($123,380)

Quan Tran limped in from the small blind. Paulo Drummond then raised to 3,600,000 in the big blind, which Tran repotted to 10,800,000. Drummond moved all in, and Tran put his 13,000,000 chips at risk.

Drummond flopped monstrous as 6♣5♦4♦ made him a straight. Tran had outs after the K♦ turn, but the 3♣ river did not pair the board, eliminating Tran in fourth.

Richard Harroch Eliminated in 5th Place ($93,480)

Jamie Flynn raised from early position to 10,000, and the action came around to Huck Seed in the small blind, who was deep in conversation. He did not notice the raise and moved all-in on the short-stacked Benjamin Leblond, who was in the big blind. Leblond folded.

This sent Flynn into some confusion, and friendly discussions started as if Huck would ever make this move knowingly or not. Flynn eventually made the call to put Seed at risk.

Just the flop Seed was after came in of A♥K♠7♥ and when the 7♣ peeled off on the turn, Flynn was drawing dead and Seed was guaranteed a double up. The 8♠river sealed the deal, and Seed's chips were blooming as he was pushed the pot for a double up and more.

Deak's Lead Grows Huge

Ferenc Deak raised to 3,000,000 in the cutoff, and Quan Tran defended his big blind. Tran check-called Deak's bet of 7,800,000 on the 10♦8♥K♦ flop, but he check-folded once Deak put him all-in for 15,000,000 on the 2♥ turn.

A couple of hands later, Paulo Drummond limped in from the small blind, and Deak raised to the maximum of 3,600,000 in the big blind. Drummond instantly called, after which the 8♥5♥2♥ flop checked through.

Drummond threw in a pot-sized bet of 8,400,000 on the 7♥ turn, which Deak called. Drummond upped the ante to 19,000,000 on the 9♦ river before Deak shoved on him.

Drummond spent some time in the tank, repeatedly looking at his cards. Eventually, he decided to fold as he left himself just over 20 big blinds.

Lukas Hafner Eliminated in 6th Place ($71,370)

Lukas Hafner made it 3,600,000 on the button. Carlos De Lima three-bet his big blind to 11,400,000, and Hafner pushed all in for 14,600,000 after some thought.

De Lima had Hafner slightly covered and called to put Hafner at risk.

De Lima flopped two pair on 7♥7♦K♦. The 9♣ turn brought Hafner some outs, but the 5♠ river was not enough to prevent his elimination in sixth place.

Sean Chen Eliminated in 7th Place ($54,910)

Quan Tran opened to 2,500,000 under the gun. It folded to Sean Chen in the big blind, who called. Chen then led all in for 6,500,000 on the 6♣J♠3♣ flop, and Tran snapped him off.

The 9♥9♦ runout changed nothing on the board, and Tran's pair of sixes knocked Chen out of the tournament.

Christoph Milbradt Eliminated in 8th Place ($42,580)

Christoph Milbradt raised to 3,500,000 under the gun. Carlos De Lima flat-called in the small blind, and the two players saw a flop of Q♥9♠J♣. De Lima led out for an all-in bet, prompting Milbradt to go into the tank.

After a couple of minutes, the clock was called on Milbradt. Near the end of his countdown, he called his 5,000,000 remaining chips off to put himself at risk.

De Lima had outflopped the aces of Milbradt. The Q♣ turn upgraded the Brazilian to a full house, and the 9♥ river did not bring an ace to set Milbradt's elimination in stone.

Davis Modans Eliminated in 9th Place ($33,280)

Action folded to Paulo Drummond on the button, and he opened to 2,500,000. In the small blind, Davis Modans responded with a raise to 8,500,000, leaving just 1,000,000 behind. Drummond made the call, and before the flop was fully spread, Modans pushed in his last chip. Drummond quickly called.

The flop came 6♣6♠9♥, and the cards were turned up.

Drummond asked the dealer for a jack, and just like that, the J♠ landed on the turn. The 2♥ river was a blank, and Modans was eliminated as Drummond got exactly what he needed.

Quentin De Solere Eliminated in 10th Place ($26,210)

Quentin de Solere raised his small blind to 3,000,000. Paulo Drummond instantly made it 9,000,000 in the big blind, and De Solere called off his stack of about 8,000,000.

William Titcomb Eliminated in 11th Place ($26,210)

Quan Tran opened the action from early position with a raise to 2,500,000, and William Titcomb called on the button. Ferenc Deak then raised pot to 10,400,000 from the big blind. That got Tran to fold, but Titcomb responded by shoving all in. Deak quickly called, and the cards went on their backs.

Titcomb had plenty of connectivity, but Deak’s ace-king and suited diamonds gave him plenty of equity. The board ran out 9♣7♦5♦8♦10♥, giving Titcomb a straight, but it wasn’t enough. Deak made the nut flush and scooped the pot, sending Titcomb to the rail.

Dominik Paus Eliminated in 12th Place ($20,810)

Davis Modans raised to 2,800,000 under the gun. Dominik Paus called in the big blind, leaving only 200,000 behind. The flop was dealt 2♣K♦J♥, on which Paus committed his final chips.
