If there was ever a year to have 2 hall of fame inductees this is the year. A perfect duo of Nick Schulman and Michael Mizrachi. Matusow will be waiting another year now, this practically guarantees mizrachi as the 2026 inductee unless they do push him through this year, which they should. Congrats Grinder! What a WS

In an already-incredible career, Michael Mizrachi has ascended to an even higher peak after taking down the 2025 WSOP Main Event for $10,000,000.

John Wasnock Eliminated in 2nd Place ($6,000,000)

Hand #79: John Wasnock raised to 5,000,000 on the button and Michael Mizrachi called.

Both players checked the A♦ 9♣ 7♣ flop. On the 4♣ turn, Mizrachi checked again and Wasnock bet 10,000,000.

Mizrachi stood up, signaled to his rail, and raised to 30,000,000. Wasnock instantly moved all in for 70,500,000, and Mizrachi snap-called.

Wasnock checked, Mizrachi bet 35,000,000, and Wasnock quickly called. Mizrachi won a big pot and knocked Wasnock below twenty big blinds.
