Alejandro Peinado Eliminated in 2nd Place ($486,192) via PokerNews

Yosef Fox raised to 1,300,000 on the button, and Alejandro Peinado moved all in from the big blind. Yosef Fox paused for a moment before making the call.

Alejandro Peinado: A♦2♦ (All in)
Yosef Fox: J♠J♣

Fox called for cards to help as he has for every all in for the majority of the last two days. The board run out of 9♠3♥2♠10♠Q♠ was exactly what he was looking for.

Peinado was our second place finisher, who received $486,192 as the runner up.

James Mendoza Eliminated in 3rd Place ($336,594) via PokerNews

@Alejandro Peinado

opened to 600,000 on the button, and

@James Mendoza

moved all in from the big blind. Peinado got a count of Mendoza's stack, which was 6,250,000. Then the Spaniard made the call.

James Mendoza: K♣J♦ (All in)
Alejandro Peinado: 7♠7♣

The flop came 9♣9♠8♣ and the turn 10♠︎ gave Mendoza a lot of outs. However, the 4♠was not one of them, and Mendoza was our third place finisher.

what a great storyline for

@Yosef Fox

pulling $250k bounty envelope!
His son Jorden won a WSOP bracelet a few years ago, and Yosef is so close to make the dream come true to him.

Richard Green Eliminated in 4th Place ($237,123) via PokerNews

James Mendoza open-jammed in the small blind and Richard Green called off in the big blind with a stack of around 2,400,000.

Richard Green: A♠9♥ (All in)
James Mendoza: 7♥5♦

The flop landed 7♣7♠8♥ to give Mendoza a near lock on things with trips and the Q♠ turn had Green drawing dead before the A♦river confirmed his elimination in fourth place.

"He's got a kid on the way," said Yosef Fox. "Baby run-good."

Patrick Kennedy Eliminated in 5th Place ($170,036) via PokerNews

@Patrick Kennedy

is our first causality of the day. In this hand, Kennedy limped in from the small blind.

@Yosef Fox

was in the big blind, and he moved all in. Kennedy snap called.

Patrick Kennedy: K♠K♦ (All in)
Yosef Fox: J♦J♥

The flop brought the spicy Q♠J♠10♠︎, so Fox had the lead with his three jacks, but Kennedy had a royal flush draw.

The 8♦ and Q♥ were not what he needed to survive this all in, and finished in fifth place.

The two players had struck up some camaraderie from playing together over the last two days, and that showed as Kennedy exited. "I hope it's the $250,000 for you", he told Fox.

We're still waiting for the bounty to be drawn, and the clock is paused as tournament staff tries to fix a problem with the bounty drawing technology.

Chao Duan Elimimated in 6th Place ($124,151)

With Duan short-stacked and in the big blind, when it folded round to James Mendoza in the small blind he asked for a rough estimate of Duan's chip count before announcing "all in". Duan didn't have to think for too long before he deemed his hand good enough to call off with.

Chao Duan: 9♣7♣ All in
James Mendoza 10♦9♠

Duan had enough outs on the 8♣Q♠K♦6♥ turn, but the brick 2♥
river sealed his fate. Mendoza's rail used this opportunity to celebrate again, and everyone waited in anticipation to see if Mendoza would pull a big bounty. He received one of the three remaining $5,000 chests, meaning we are left with $320,000 in the bounty prize pool, with only five left to be revealed.

Mendoza Extends His Chip Lead

The final table was extremely tense as Mendoza continued his streak of applying pressure with his big stack, by raising to 300k from the cutoff. Peinado, with a smaller, but still very large stack, defended from the big blind.

The dealer put out a flop of 10♣5♥3♥ and as expected, Peinado checked over to the preflop aggressor, who opted for a continuation bet of 475,000, which Peinado called.

The same action was true on the 4♦ turn, however this time Mendoza sized up, to the tune of 1,100,000. Yet again, Peinado matched his opponent's bet.

The river came the J♦, and for a third time, Peinado checked over to Mendoza. The Filipino wasn't afraid to empty the clip as he fired a triple barrel for a massive 3,000,000. It took a good four minutes for Peinado to come to his decision, and finally he returned his cards face down to the dealer, which brought a cheer from Mendoza's rail. He then showed the table the A♥, however left his other card a mystery.
