After a number of hands passing small pots back and forth, Renat Bohdanov was in the small blind and limp-called a 1,700,000 bet from Dennys Ramos in the big blind.

The Q♣Q♠8♣ flop saw Ramos bet 1,000,000. Bohdanov responded by raising to 2,000,000 and Ramos re-raised to 4,000,000.

Bohdanov took over 2-minutes before throwing his hand into the muck.

Ramos Wobbles Bohdannov Early

Dennys Ramos delivered the first significant blow of the heads-up match against Renat Bohdanov.

The hand began when Bohdanov limped from the small blind, and Ramos responded with a raise to 1,600,000 total. Bohdanov then chose to raise himself with a bet of 3,500,000. Ramos called to take the two to a flop with 7,000,000 already in the middle.

Anatoly Nikitin's tournament run came to an end after he raised to 400,000 from the cutoff and was faced with a jam by Tsz Ho Chau from the small blind. Nikitin took some time to take an inventory of his chips and survey the situation before he threw in a call.
