Ran Kadur Eliminated in 2nd Place
($201,233)

--

Narimaan Ahmadi completed on the button and Ran Kadur checked his option in the big blind.

Kadur bet 1,600,000 on the flop of J♦J♣4♠ and Ahmadi called. Kadur then bet 2,500,000 on the 5♠ turn and Ahmadi raised to 8,700,000. Kadur called.

Kadur checked on the 9♦ river and Ahmadi moved all in. Kadur gave it some thought and called with his remaining stack of around 30,000,000.

Ahmadi tabled J♠2♣ for trip jacks and it was good to win the pot and tournament as Kadur was forced to show K♦5♣.

First Blood to Kadur

--

A lot of the first heads-up pots went Ran Kadur's way, with the biggest two highlighted below.

First, Narimaan Ahmadi limped from the button and Kadur checked his option from the big blind.

On the 5♥J♥Q♦ flop, Kadur check-called a bet of 2,000,000 from Ahmadi and the 7♠ turn checked through.

When the J♠ paired the board on the river, Kadur bet 3,500,000, and Ahmadi called.

Kadur showed Q♦3♥ for a pair of queens to take the pot.

Not long after, Ahmadi made it 3,600,000 on the button and Kadur called in the big blind.

The flop came 5♣6♥4♥ and both checked to the 4♣ turn, where Kadur fired 4,500,000. Ahmadi called.

A J♦ landed on the river and Kadur shoved for around 20,000,000, and Ahmadi quickly folded.

Nicolas Godard: K♦Q♠ All in
Narimaan Ahmadi: K♠K♣

It's Getting Shovey Out There

--

A few shoves were made in the past couple of orbits, but all went uncalled.

First, Ran Kadur made it 3,200,000 from under the gun and Narimaan Ahmadi called on the button. Jorge Dominguez then shoved around 23,000,000 from the small blind, and everybody folded.

Nicolas Godard then made it 4,000,000 from the small blind and Kadur shoved from the big blind for around 26,000,000. Godard snap-folded.

There was a flop seen when Dominguez made it 3,600,000 from the button and Kadur called in the big blind.

Both checked the 2♣7♥10♠ flop and Kadur took it down with a bet of 3,600,000 on the 4♥ turn.

Godard Bets Out Dominguez

--

Nicolas Godard raised to 3,200,000 in the cutoff and Jorge Dominguez defended his big blind.

Dominguez checked on the flop of 9♥6♥10♦ and Godard checked back. Dominguez checked again on the 4♣ turn and Godard bet 3,000,000. Godard carved out a stack of chips that looked like a raise but then tossed his cards to the muck.

Dominguez Flops a Set to Double Through Ahmadi

--

Four of the first five hands after the break were walks, with Narimaan Ahmadi taking down the only hand that went to a flop after he check-raised against Nicolas Godard.

Then, Ahmadi raised the button to 3,700,000 and Jorge Dominguez shoved from the small blind for 13,200,000. After giving it a little thought, Ahmadi called.

Jorge Dominguez: 9♣9♥ All in
Narimaan Ahmadi: J♦10♦

It was a fair fight, but after the 9♦6♥2♣ flop, Dominguez made a set and took a huge lead, which resulted in a loud roar from his rail. A 2♠ on the turn locked it up for the Argentinian player as he made a full house, with a meaningless 7♦ dropping on the river.

Daniel Schill Eliminated in 5th Place ($84,676)

--

Narimaan Ahmadi was putting pressure on the two short stacks to his left, and shoved from the small blind & the button without any pushback.

In the next hand, Ahmadi raised to 2,700,000 in the cutoff and Daniel Schill shoved for around 15,000,000 from the small blind. When it got back to Ahmadi, he called.

Daniel Schill: K♦J♠ All in
Narimaan Ahmadi: 10♦10♠

"It's a flip," said Schill to his rail.

Ahmadi was looking to thin the field down by one, and succeeded in his quest as the 8♥2♠5♠8♦Q♥ runout kept his pocket tens in the lead, leaving the start-of-day chip leader out in fifth.

Godard Getting Active

--

Nicolas Godard has been loosening up as of late, resulting in a net position to his stack.

First, Godard got a steal through and then raise-folded to a shove of around 17,000,000 from Daniel Schill.

Schill then limped from the small blind and Godard checked his option from the big blind.

The flop came 5♥7♣Q♥ and after Schill check-called a bet of 1,200,000, he folded to another bet of 3,000,000 on the 7♦ turn from Godard.

Not long after, Godard made it 2,400,000 to go from the button and Narimaan Ahmadi called in the big blind.

Both tapped the table on the A♥9♥4♠ flop and Ahmadi check-called a bet of 2,200,000 on the 2♦ turn.

When the 8♠ hit the river, both decided to knuckle it down with Ahmadi showed 9♠7♣ for a pair of nines. However, Godard had the winner with a pair of aces holding A♠7♦.

Kudar Wins a Flip the Hard Way

--

Daniel Schill raised the button to 2,400,000 and Ran Kadur shoved for around 18,000,000 from the big blind. Schill snap-called.

Ran Kadur: 7♦7♠ All in
Daniel Schill: A♥Q♦

Kadur was flipping for his tournament life, but was left fighting for survival after the A♠Q♥6♠ flop gave Schill two pair. However, Kadur hit the jackpot on the 7♥ turn as he made three sevens, sending him into the lead. Schill did have outs, but the 2♥ river wasn't one of them, which meant Kadur doubled up.

"This is my hand. I never lose with this hand," said Kadur after the hand.

"You gotta win your flips," replied Schill as he shipped over a chunk of his stack.

Godard Good at Showdown

Nicolas Godard opened to 2,000,000 in the hijack and Jorge Dominguez called in the small blind as Daniel Schill defended his big blind.

The flop of Q♣4♥K♣ checked through and the three players checked again on the 4♣ turn and 9♠ river.

Dominguez showed AXJX, but it was no good against the 8♠8♣ of Godard to win the pot.

Dominguez Gets a Shove Through; Kadur Tanks the River

Jorge Dominguez limped in from the small blind and Daniel Schill made it 3,000,000 to go from the big blind. Dominguez called.

On the 9♦Q♣5♣ flop, Dominguez check-folded to a bet of 2,700,000 from Schill. Though, it wasn't all bad news for Dominguez as he shoved from the button in the next hand for 17,500,000 and picked up the blinds.

After that, Narimaan Ahmadi raised to 2,300,000 from under the gun and Ran Kadur called in the big blind.

Both checked the 6♥7♦5♥ flop to the 8♥ turn, where Kadur fired 1,500,000. Ahmadi called.

A Q♣ hit the river and Kadur quickly knuckled the table, only to then face a bet of 6,800,000 from Ahmadi. Kadur went into the tank for around 90 seconds and ultimately elected to fold.
