Lawrence Robinson Eliminated in 3rd Place
($59,263)

Lawrence Robinson raised in the small blind, and Jason Duong defended his big blind.

On a K♣6♦7♦ flop, Robinson bet out. Duong then raised, Robinson three-bet, and Duong four-bet to put his adversary all in. Robinson made the call.

Lawrence Robinson: K♥9♦ All in
Jason Duong: Q♦6♣

Robinson was in great shape; however the J♦4♦ gave Duong the backdoor flush, putting him in a heads-up battle against Adam Tyburski.

Andrew Beversdorf Eliminated in 4th Place
($41,318)

Andrew Beversdorf was left with little chips after a clash with Lawrence Robinson that saw Robinson double through Beversdorf, leaving him gasping for air.

This hand began when Jason Duong raised from the cutoff, and was re-raised by Beversdorf from the small blind. Duong raised to put Beversdorf all in and Beversdorf obliged with a call to head to a showdown.

Andrew Beversdorf: A♥K♦All in
Jason Duong: Q♠10♣

Beversdorf's hopes of a double came crashing down when the flop came Q♦Q♥4♠. The 8♥ sealed the deal as the meaningless 5♥ rolled over on the river.

Robinson led out on the 2♠A♥3♠ flop, and was called by Duong.

Robinson kept up the aggression on the 8♦ turn, but Duong responded with a raise. Robinson stayed in the hand with a call.

Duong Hits a Big River

Jason Duong raised under the gun, and Lawrence Robinson defended his big blind.

The dealer dealt out a flop of 5♠8♠A♦, which checked through. Robinson checked for a second time on the Q♠ turn, and Duong threw out a delayed continuation-bet, which was called by Robinson.

For a third time in the hand, Robinson checked as the 6♠ peeled off on the river. Duong bet again, and Robinson called again, before being shown the bad news, as Duong tabled K♠10♦ for the rivered flush. Robinson mucked his cards.

Nicholas Tsoukalas Eliminated in 5th Place
($29,384)

Andrew Beversdorf chose to raise when he was folded to on the cutoff, and action got back round to Nicholas Tsoulakas in the big blind. He decided to defend.

Tsoulakas then checked the Q♦A♥8♥flop over to Beversdorf, who went for a continuation-bet. Tsoulakas had sprung the trap, though, and check-raised. The players clearly couldn't wait to get their stacks in, as Beversdorf three-bet, Tsoulakas four-bet, and Beversdorf maxed it out with another raise. Tsoulakas had no choice but to call.

On the 9♠ turn, Tsoulakas bet, leaving himself only a single 5,000 denomination chip behind. Beversdorf then went all in, only covering Tsoulakas by 5,000, and was called, as Tsoulakas said "we might have the same hand"

Nicholas Tsoulakas: J♥6♥ All in
Andrew Beversdorf: A♦Q♥

Tsoulakas missed his draws on the 4♣river, and exited the tournament area.

Bobbi Harrell Eliminated in 6th Place
($21,324)

Bobbi Harrell raised from the small blind when action had folded to her, and Jason Duong defended his big blind.

On the J♥6♥Q♦ flop, Harrell continued her aggression and made a bet, which was called by Duong. She bet again on the Q♥ turn, but this time Duong raised, which was enough to put Harrell all in. She made the call, and saw the bad news as Duong let her know that he "had a queen"

Bobbi Harrell: A♠J♣ All in
Jason Duong: Q♠10♠

The river A♣
just added insult to injury, as no card in the deck would've kept Harrell alive on the final table. She left her first WSOP bracelet event with a very respectable score, however, and will now make it on time for her 7:15 p.m. flight. Her husband on the rail, although disappointed, was pleased that he wouldn't have to rebook.

Robinson Takes the Chip Lead

Adam Tyburski opened from the hijack, and was then three-bet by Lawrence Robinson, who was on the button.

On the 8♣7♦9♠ flop, Tyburski checked his action and Robinson bet. Tyburski called.

The exact same action took place on the K♣ turn, and on the 7♣ river, Robisnon emptied the clip again, for a third barrel. Tyburski thought for a while, before flicking in the call. Robinson showed A♦K♦which was good to scoop the pot.

Tyburski’s Nines Prevail

It was a battle of the blinds when Adam Tyburski raised from the small blind and was called by Andrew Beversdorf in the big blind.

Tyburski continued on the 5♣10♠2♦flop and was called by Beversdorf.

The action checked through on the A♠turn.

Tyburski chose to lead out on the A♣ river and was called by Beversdorf. Tyburski showed 9♦9♥ to take down the pot.

David Rogers Eliminated in 7th Place
($15,798)

A raising war began preflop when Adam Tyburski raised from the button. David Rogers opted for a raise from the small blind and was met with a four-bet from Tyburski. Rogers put the last of his chips to create a showdown.

David Rogers: 3♣3♠All in
Adam Tyburski: A♦Q♣

Rogers was ahead to begin the runout, but the 4♣5♠Q♠ flop changed that. The 2♠ turn created a sweat, giving Rogers some flush and straight outs, but the 5♥bricked on the river to send him out of the tournament.

Double for Duong

Jason Duong opened from under the gun and was raised by Bobbi Harrell in the big blind. Duong came along with a call.

Harrell fired on the 8♦3♠10♠
flop and was called yet again by Duong.

Another bet from Harrell occurred on the 2♥ turn, which resulted in another call from Duong.

The 6♥ did not slow Harrell down as she bet, but Harrell was raised all in for slightly more by Duong. Harrell called and was shown the 6♦6♣ by Duong for a set of sixes which was more than enough to topple Harrell's A♣K♥.

Rogers Hits Huge Flop

Jason Duong and David Rogers got into another battle, as Duong put in a raise from the cutoff, and Rogers decided to defend his big blind, leaving less than a big bet behind.

On a flop of 9♠6♠5♠ Duong opted for a continuation-bet after being checked to, and Rogers then placed in the rest of his stack. Duong realised he only had to place in less than the amount of a small bet to call, and did so.

David Rogers: K♠2♠ All in
Jason Duong: A♣9♦

Rogers showed that he had got the dream flop, and had Duong drawing to runner-runner. The turn 2♥ sealed his double up, and he apologised to the rest of the table on the 10♥ river, as he denied them all a pay jump.
