Lonny Weitzel limped from the button, which elicited a raise from Damir Stefanic in the big blind to 1,200,000. Weitzel immediately moved all in, and Stefanic snap-called.

The two players had very similar chip counts, with roughly half of the chips in play each. When the dealer broke down the stacks, it was Stefanic at risk, by a whisker.

Damir Stefanic: Q♠Q♥ All in
Lonny Weitzel: 8♣8♦

The dealer was on standby to deliver a tournament-defining flop, and when given the go-ahead, they fanned out 6♥9♠8♠ onto the felt.

A huge turnaround in fortunes for both players left Stefanic with just two opportunities to catch up.

The turn K♣ was no help, and when the dealer rolled over the A♣ river, Weitzel's rail went wild as Stefanic had to take his leave.

Lonny Weitzel is off to a hot start in the heads-up match against Damir Stefanic, consistently taking pots.

This hand began when Weitzel raised to 1,200,000 and was called by Stefanic.

The 10♣6♦5♠ flop saw a check from Stefanic before Weitzel fired 1,500,000. Stefanic called and continued the hand.

Both players checked the 3♥ turn.

The A♥ river saw a check from Stefanic again. Weitzel slid out 1,500,000 and was called by Stefanic.

Weitzel announced two pair and showed A♣10♦ for aces up. Stefanic folded without showing.

Richard Jutte jammed from the button and was called by Damir Stefanic in the small blind to put Jutte at risk for his tournament life.

Richard Jutte: A♠K♣All in
Damir Stefanic: K♥6♥

Jutte had a dominant lead over Stefanic, but that changed in a hurry as the flop came 2♥A♥8♥ to flop the stone cold nuts. The 4♣turn and the 10♥ river completed the board and sent Jutte out of the tournament.

Action started with Damir Stefanic limping in from the small blind. Lonny Weitzel, in the big blind, raised to 875,000, and Stefanic called.

The flop 3♠9♠5♦ saw Stefanic check-call a bet of 1,600,000, before both players checked the 9♣ turn.

Stefanic then took over the betting lead on the 4♦ river, putting out 3,400,000. Weitzel called, and Stefanic turned over 7♣6♠ for a rivered straight.

Unable to beat a straight, Weitzel returned his cards to the dealer face down, and the dealer pushed the pot to Stefanic, making him the new chip leader.

First to act, Richard Jutte moved all in for 5,350,000, and when action folded to Lonny Weitzel, he made the call to put his table-mate at risk.

Richard Jutte: A♥10♥ All in
Lonny Weitzel: 3♥3♣

The flop window card was good news for Jutte, as the dealer fanned out a A♠Q♦4♥ flop.

There was no change in fortune for Weitzel on the 9♥ turn or 6♣ river, as he paid Jutte his double up.

Lonny Weitzel raised from the cutoff to 900,000 and was met with a three-bet to 1,800,000 from Damir Stefanic in the big blind. Weitzel called, and they went to a flop.

The dealer provided a 5♣Q♥8♦ flop, and Stefanic immediately announced a bet of 1,500,000. Weitzel made the call in an instant, and they moved on to the 6♦ turn.

As quick as a flash, Stefanic had bet the same 1,500,000, and Weitzel had called.

The river J♠ slowed everything down as both players checked.

Stefanic turned over J♣4♣ for a rivered pair, and Weitzel revealed A♦6♥ for an inferior pair.

Chip leader Lonny Weitzel raised under the gun to 900,000, and action folded to Lawrence Whyte in the big blind. After a moment or two to figure out a plan, Whyte moved all in for roughly 4,900,000, receiving a snap-call from Wietzel.

Lawrence Whyte: A♣10♦ All in
Lonny Weitzel: K♠K♥

Whyte needed to find some help to stay alive, but the deck wasn't forthcoming, as the flop rolled off Q♥Q♠7♣, Whyte was left needing to find an ace, running tens or an unlikely running queens to stay alive.

The turn 10♣ did provide a little hope, but the river 4♠ sealed his fate, as he vacated his seat and said his goodbyes.

Just before the break, a hand broke out that led to the demise of Wesley Cameron in the tournament.

Lonny Weitzel called from middle position, and Wesley Cameron came along with a call from the hijack. The action folded to the big blind of Damir Stefanic, who checked his option.

The flop fanned out 2♦A♥K♦. Stefanic checked before Weitzel bet 700,000. Cameron responded with an all-in. Stefanic folded, and Weitzel called.

Wesley Cameron: 10♦5♦All in
Lonny Weitzel: A♣4♦

Cameron was searching for a diamond, but it did not come as the J♥ turn and the 7♥river peeled off.

In the most recent orbit at the table, there have been three uncalled all-ins, a couple of raises, a couple of walks to the big blind, but zero flops seen.

After an under-the-gun raise to 900,000, Richard Frandsen moved all in for 4,450,000 and received no action.

A few hands later, Lonny Weitzel took his turn to move all in, open shoving from the button, before both players in the blinds folded.

Frandsen, a few hands after that, moved all in again, but again nobody called.

Lonny Weitzel limped from the button before Wesley Cameron limped from the small blind. Richard Jutte checked his option to send the three players to a flop.

Both Cameron and Jutte checked on the 10♠5♦3♥ flop, and Weitzel fired 450,000. Cameron called to stay in the hand, and Jutte folded.

Both Cameron and Weitzel checked the 8♠turn.

When the 9♥ river came, Cameron chose to bet 500,000, which resulted in a fold from Weitzel.

Damir Stefanic raised from the button to 725,000 and was called by Lonny Weitzel in the big blind. Weitzel checked the 9♥4♣J♦flop and faced a bet from Stefanic for 825,000. Weitzel folded to end the hand.

In the following hand, Lawrence Whyte raised to 725,000 on the button, and faced an all-in raise by Wesley Cameron from the big blind to 3,250,000. Whyte folded to end the hand.

Edwin Huston moved all in from under the gun for 1,700,000. Action folded to Damir Stefanic in the big blind, who took one look at his cards and made the call.

Edwin Huston: A♦7♦ All in
Damir Stefanic: A♠Q♠

Huston was at risk and dominated, but the 6♣9♦K♦ provided plenty of hope.

The turn 2♣ had no effect, prompting Huston to use his "one-time," hoping for a diamond or seven river.

Unfortunately for Huston, though, the river 2♥ sealed his fate, leading him to thank the players and say his goodbyes.

Richard Jutte raised to 700,000 from middle position, and then made the call when big blind, Edwin Huston, moved all in for 1,000,000.

Edwin Huston: Q♦J♥ All in
Richard Jutte: K♦10♣

The flop 10♥6♦J♠ gave both players a pair, but crucially, Huston had taken the lead.

The J♣ turn wrapped up the pot for Huston, before the dealer had even revealed the 9♣river.

Lawrence Whyte opened in the cutoff to 450,000, which was met with pure aggression by chip leader Lonny Weitzel, on the button.

Weitzel wasted little time before announcing he was all in, pushing forward multiple towers of chips.

Action folded back to Whyte, who ceded, returning his cards to the dealer.

Weitzel pulled in the pot, adding to his lead, as his rail bellowed support from the gallery.
