WSOP CIRCUIT GOES TO COCONUT CREEK

The World Series of Poker Circuit returns to South Florida this week, but the scenery will be a bit different than usual. This time, players will have a new venue to explore.

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek is the new spot, set to play host to the Circuit for the first time.

“Coco” is a beautiful, villa-themed casino located north of Fort Lauderdale. It's owned and operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, who have exclusive rights to offer casino gambling in the state. The Coconut Creek property boasts more than 70 table games and 2,000 slot machines, along with a fine variety of food and drink options.

And a bustling poker scene. The Pavilion, Coco’s 10,000-square-foot entertainment venue, has plenty of space for the large crowds that the staff is anticipating throughout the series.

The 12-day WSOPC festival runs from Feb. 8-19, with 12 ring events and dozens more side events on the schedule. Buy-ins range from $365 up to $3,250, with satellites starting at just $65.

As is the case for all Circuit stops, two seats to the WSOP Global Casino Championship will also be awarded at Coco. One will go to the winner of the Main Event, while the other goes to the player who accumulates the most points — the Casino Champion.

All players who cash in ring events earn points that apply to both the venue and season-long points races.

If you've ever watched the World Series of Poker and thought that could be me, you're not alone. Since 1970, the WSOP has been the place where that dream lives. Most people know the summer series in Las Vegas, where the $10,000 Main Event turns ordinary players into legends. But the WSOP calendar has grown well beyond that. WSOP Europe and WSOP Paradise now bring bracelet competition to international destinations, and dozens of Circuit events run year-round for players who want serious competition closer to home. Whether you're grinding a Circuit stop or taking your shot at the Main Event, the hardware means something. Winning a gold bracelet or Circuit ring is more than just a trophy. It's a permanent record that you are a champion. For players in Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, WSOP Online has become something worth paying attention to. It's the only platform in the US where you can win a poker tournament for official WSOP gold bracelets without leaving home! The WSOP also offers deposit limits and self-exclusion tools because the best poker rooms have always known that keeping poker players healthy keeps the game healthy. From your first Circuit event to a final table in Las Vegas, WSOP is still where you go to prove something.
