Today, two millionaires will be created and one player will go down in history.
That's all because the $50,000 Poker Players Championship final table is being contested.
A prize pool of $6,144,000 is up for grabs and the winner will walk away with $1,720,328.
Of course, players are also playing for the coveted WSOP gold bracelet and the Chip Reese Memorial Trophy, which is awarded to the winner.
The winner of this event is considered the best all-around poker player in the world, because he/she would have bested an elite field in eight different variations of poker.
And the final players in today's field are among the "Who's Who" in the game today.
