ROBERT SHUPTRINE WINS THE HARD ROCK TULSA WSOPC MAIN EVENT

Las Vegas, Nevada (March 17, 2026) - From all the way in the Sooner State, a new WSOP Circuit Main Event champion has been crowned at the Hard Rock in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Emerging victorious amongst a field of 478 total entrants, Bentonville, Arkansas’ Robert Shuptrine was declared the Hard Rock Tulsa WSOP Circuit Main Event champion after defeating Christopher Stewart heads-up to claim the $142,758 top prize and first WSOP Circuit ring.

A car salesman and family man who recently returned to the poker tournament scene, with his victory in Tulsa, Shuptrine far surpassed his previous career high cash of $22,757.

Speaking with Poker.Org live reporter Sam Cosby following his career win in the Hard Rock Tulsa WSOP Circuit Main Event, Shuptrine cited his career as a wholesale car salesman as benefiting him in the tournament.

“It’s gambling!” Shuptrine said. “We wholesale about 100 cars a week. Buying cars is gambling. I’m buying cars to take them to another location, so we’re gambling that the car is going to make more money at the next location. It’s all gambling. We always compare everything to gambling. Just in a different form.”
