If you are playing in the 2010 WSOP Main Event, please make sure to read the following:
All poker players who plan to participate in the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event championship are reminded there are some changes in effect this year:
(1) The biggest change is that players who survive DAY 1-A and DAY 1-C will combine into DAY 2-A. This means players who survive DAY 1-A on July 5th and players who survive DAY 1-C on July 7th will come back and play on DAY 2-A on Friday, July 9th.
(2) Similarly, players who survive DAY 1-B and DAY 1-D will combine into DAY 2-B. This means players who survive DAY 1-B on July 6th and players who survive DAY 1-D on July 8th will come back and play on DAY 2-B on Saturday, July 10th.
(3) Players who survive DAY 2-A and DAY 2-B will combine and resume play on DAY 3 on Monday, July 12th.
(4) Sunday, July 11th is an off-day. The Main Event is not played on that day.

(5) Finally, please be reminded that while the WSOP makes every possible attempt to accommodate as many players as possible on each starting day, it is necessary to try and balance the field sizes to the greatest extent possible in order to meet capacity on Day 2 starting days. Last year, some players were not able to participate in the WSOP Main Event because they waited until the last minute to try and register. The WSOP urges all players to register as early as possible so they may be guaranteed a seat in the Main Event and will be able to select their best starting day. Failure to register early will limit your flexibility up and including the possibility of being shut out of the tournament.
Dinner breaks for all Day 1's will be after the third level of play, at approximately 6:45 pm and last 90 minutes. Players will play a total of 4 1/2 levels on each of the Day 1's and are expected to be finished for the Day at 11:45 PM.
We suggest you follow the WSOP Twitter feed as well, it's @WSOP to stay up to date on any developments relating to the Main Event.
