QUALIFY FOR WSOP MAIN EVENT FOR AS LITTLE AS $550 AT THE RIO ALL-SUITE HOTEL
The 42nd running of the World Series of Poker Main Event is just about upon us and players have four different days to start their journey to fame and fortune this year as well as plenty of affordable opportunities to qualify without having to pay the $10,000 entry fee.

The Day 1 flights are set for 12 noon on Thursday, July 7; Friday, July 8; Saturday, July 9; and Sunday, July 10.

Players can choose any of the four start days to begin.  Playing on Thursday or Saturday means if you make through to Day Two, your play would resume on Monday, July 11 as part of Day 2A.  Those who start on Friday or Sunday will resume on Day 2B which is slated for Tuesday, July 12.

The ESPN cameras are back and action will be covered in nearly live fashion beginning Thursday, July 14 and continuing through until there are just nine players remaining, expected to be on Tuesday, July 19

Satellites for the Main Event have been a staple of the world's biggest poker event for decades.  And this year, given record participation in bracelet events and the shuttering of online U.S. poker rooms, the WSOP will have the most comprehensive series of qualifying tournaments in its history.

From July 4th through July 10th, players seeking to participate in the world's richest sporting event will have non-stop opportunities to qualify on the cheap.

On July 6th, the only new tournaments on the schedule will be satellites, with hundreds of tables available for play.  $550 Mega Satellites will kick-off at 10am and 4pm with a $1060 Mega Satellite at 1pm and a $2080 Mega at 8pm.

The action does not slow down July 7-9th while some players begin their Main Event flights.  The same Mega Satellite schedule will be available as on July 6th, with $550 Megas at 10am and 4pm, $1060 at 1pm and $2080 at 8pm. Single table satellites will be available as well and on July 10th, there will be a special "last-chance" turbo satellite for $1060 at 8am.

The remaining WSOP Satellite Schedule is as follow:

Mega Satellites: June 25 – July 4
4:00 pm: $330 buy-in Played as No-Limit Hold’em
8:00 pm: $550 buy-in Played as No-Limit Hold’em

Mega Satellites: July 5 – 9
10:00 am:  $550 buy-in Played as No-Limit Hold’em
1:00 pm:          $1060 buy-in Played as No-Limit Hold’em
4:00 pm:          $550 buy-in Played as No-Limit Hold’em
8:00 pm:          $2080 buy-in Played as No-Limit Hold’em

“Last Chance” Turbo Mega Satellite: July 10
8:00 am: $1060 buy-in Played as No-Limit Hold’em

Of course, Single-Table Satellites are offered daily 24 hours a day, seven days a week for as little as $100.

Players are encouraged to get down to the Rio Convention Center and register for the WSOP Main Event as soon as possible so they can determine their own start day from the four available days.

Will you become the reigning World Champion of Poker and walk-away with the multi-million dollar payday?  You can't win if you don't enter.

See you at the Rio.

If you've ever watched the World Series of Poker and thought that could be me, you're not alone. Since 1970, the WSOP has been the place where that dream lives. Most people know the summer series in Las Vegas, where the $10,000 Main Event turns ordinary players into legends. But the WSOP calendar has grown well beyond that. WSOP Europe and WSOP Paradise now bring bracelet competition to international destinations, and dozens of Circuit events run year-round for players who want serious competition closer to home. Whether you're grinding a Circuit stop or taking your shot at the Main Event, the hardware means something. Winning a gold bracelet or Circuit ring is more than just a trophy. It's a permanent record that you are a champion. For players in Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, WSOP Online has become something worth paying attention to. It's the only platform in the US where you can win a poker tournament for official WSOP gold bracelets without leaving home! The WSOP also offers deposit limits and self-exclusion tools because the best poker rooms have always known that keeping poker players healthy keeps the game healthy. From your first Circuit event to a final table in Las Vegas, WSOP is still where you go to prove something.
