ONE FREE WSOP SEAT STILL UP FOR GRABS!!

If nothing else, the 57-event World Series of Poker "season" once again proved that poker players of any skill level can ride a wave of good play and good luck all the way to a WSOP bracelet. Look no further than the Main Event, where Darvin Moon and Phil Ivey tussled in front of the ESPN cameras at the final table in one of the unlikeliest of poker scenarios. One qualified for the event by winning a satellite tournament at the Wheeling Island Casino in West Virginia, the other jet sets across the globe in search of a game.

While professional players acquitted themselves rather well this year, amateurs took home bracelets and crashed final tables throughout the six-week tournament. But with the 2009 WSOP now in the rear view, speculation begins about the 2010 tournament. How many players will play in next year’s Main Event? Will more records be set? Will the Main Event final table continue to produce a hodge-podge of professional and amateur players from all over the world?

Seats are already being awarded for the 2010 WSOP Main Event, where solid play and a few lucky breaks will produce another Joe Cada – the newly minted millionaire who now has the sports world at his fingertips and a target resting squarely on his back.

Waylon Carr, from the town of Amery, Wisconsin, is already ticketed for next year’s Main Event, thanks to Milwaukee’s Best Light, now in their 4th year as sponsor of the WSOP. Waylon won his $10,000 seat by capturing the weekly free-roll tournament at WSOP.com, then defeating 400 other poker players in the final tournament. He and a guest will enjoy an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas next July where Waylon will compete in the Main Event.

Milwaukee’s Best Light still has one free-roll seat to give out courtesy of their "Online Poker Challenge." Now through November 22, 2009, those 21 and older can visit www.WSOP.com to enter.  Click here or on the Milwaukee’s Best Light banner and compete to win the last remaining seat to the prestigious $10,000 buy-in 2010 Main Event.

If you've ever watched the World Series of Poker and thought that could be me, you're not alone. Since 1970, the WSOP has been the place where that dream lives. Most people know the summer series in Las Vegas, where the $10,000 Main Event turns ordinary players into legends. But the WSOP calendar has grown well beyond that. WSOP Europe and WSOP Paradise now bring bracelet competition to international destinations, and dozens of Circuit events run year-round for players who want serious competition closer to home. Whether you're grinding a Circuit stop or taking your shot at the Main Event, the hardware means something. Winning a gold bracelet or Circuit ring is more than just a trophy. It's a permanent record that you are a champion. For players in Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, WSOP Online has become something worth paying attention to. It's the only platform in the US where you can win a poker tournament for official WSOP gold bracelets without leaving home! The WSOP also offers deposit limits and self-exclusion tools because the best poker rooms have always known that keeping poker players healthy keeps the game healthy. From your first Circuit event to a final table in Las Vegas, WSOP is still where you go to prove something.
