NEXT CIRCUIT STOP: HORSESHOE HAMMOND
Horseshoe Hammond Circuit series kicks off Thursday, October 10th.
Hammond, Ind. (October 10, 2017) -- The World Series of Poker Circuit has already completed six of the 26 stops on the 2017-2018 tour. The seventh stop on the Circuit schedule kicks off Thursday, October 10th at Horseshoe Hammond.
The first three days of the series feature starting flights for Event #1: $365 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry. Last year at Horseshoe Hammond, the multi-flight, re-entry drew a field of 2,121 entrants and paid out the top 224 finishers. Along with the option of unlimited re-entry, Event #1 boasts a $500,000 guaranteed prizepool.
There will be 12 gold ring events held in total, including the a $5,300 buy-in, High Roller competition, and of course the $1,675 Main Event, which begins Friday, October 20th. The Main Event carries a guaranteed prizepool of $1,000,000. It's conclusion on Monday, October 23rd will bring the Chicago-area Circuit to an end.
Last years Main Event winner at Horseshoe Hamond was WSOP regular, Dylan Linde. The poker pro from Idaho grabbed his first career gold ring and a whopping $348,269 for his Main Event conquest.
The winner of the Main Event and the Casino Champion will earn a seat to the 2018 Global Casino Campionship. There they will compete for a minimum $1 million prizepool, as well as a coveted gold bracelet. To become the Casino Champion a player must earn the most points at a given Circuit stop. Players earn points based on how well they finish in a tournament. More information on the Global Casino Championship leaderboard can be found on WSOP.com.

Horseshoe Hammond is located in northeast corner of Indianan near the Indiana-Illinois border. The casino is approximately 20 miles from Chicago Midway International Airport and 30 miles from the O'Hare International airport.
