Biloxi, Mississippi (18 December 2018) - The World Series of Poker Circuit IP Biloxi is a wrap, with the last two rings of the series awarded. One of those was the biggest of all -- the Main Event ring claimed by Bartlett, Tennessee's Kevin Johnson.
Johnson, 28, had cashed seven previous times in WSOP and WSOP Circuit events, but had never logged a result like Monday's, worth $127,139 and a seat into the 2018-19 Casino Championship. (For more details on Johnson's win, click the event links below.)
The second ring awarded on Monday came in Event #13, $400 No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack. North Carolina's Eric Salazar, one of eight players to make Day 2 in this event, secured his second career Circuit ring and $13,632 with the win.
CASINO CHAMPION UPDATE
Benjamin Thomas's fourth-place finish in the Main Event clinches the Casino Champion title by lifting him past Paul Sokoloff and Mack Ham to give Thomas his own 2018-19 Casino Championship seat.
