CHOCTAW CIRCUIT BEGINS TOMORROW
Final Choctaw Circuit kicks off the new year.
1 January 2020 (Durant, Okla.) -- The World Series of Poker Circuit has completed the first half of the 2019/20 season. Kicking off the new year will be the third, and final, Circuit at Choctaw Durant.
Action begins tomorrow, January 2nd, with a one-day event. Cards will be in the air at 12:00 pm for Event #1: $400 No-Limit Hold'em (1 Day) and will lead to the first gold-ring recipient of the two-week tournament series.
The first weekend of the series is highlighted by a multi-flight tournament featuring four separate starting legs. Event #2 commences Friday with Flight A at 12:00 p.m. and has a $250 buy-in.
The only other event featuring multiple starting flights is the $1,700 buy-in Main Event. During the last Choctaw Circuit, back in early November, Nathanael Kogel conquered a field of 983 entrants in the Main Event to win $256,915 and his third gold ring.
The winner of the Main Event and the Casino Champion will earn a seat to the 2020 Global Casino Championship. There they will compete a coveted gold bracelet. To become the Casino Champion a player must earn the most points at a given Circuit stop. Players earn points based on how well they finish in a tournament.
