BALLYS LAS VEGAS HOSTS MAIN EVENT MANIA LIVE TOURNAMENT SERIES FROM DEC 10 TO JAN 3, 2021

LAS VEGAS (Dec. 2, 2020) – For those looking for a last chance satellite to qualify for the 2020 WSOP Main Event, a No-Limit Hold’em tournament with a great structure, or series of mixed events, Bally’s Las Vegas has plenty to offer December 10 – January 3.

Main Event Mania (MEM) will kick off by offering nine different Mega Satellites held across three consecutive days where players can win their way into poker’s biggest tournament of the year, the $10,000 WSOP Main Event.

There will be 32 official events, which will begin with a $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em tournament on Sunday, December 13 at 11:00am. Most events will last two days unless noted otherwise on the official schedule. Winners will receive a special trophy in addition to the prize money awarded in each event.

Events will begin at 11:00am or 4:00pm each day, and there will be a Mega Satellite every night at 8:00pm for the next day’s 11:00am event.

Have you missed playing mixed games? MEM offers non-hold’em enthusiasts plenty of opportunities to play all their favorite games and formats such as: Omaha 8, Pot-Limit Omaha, Big O, 2-7 Triple Draw, Triple Stud, HORSE, Nine Game Mixed, and Dealers Choice.

Event #28, the $2,200 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em will begin on December 30 with $265 Mega Satellites being offered for those who want to try and qualify the day before at 4:00pm and 8:00pm.

The Main Event is a $1,500 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Tournament. Players may choose their starting day (flight) of Friday, January 1 at 11:00am, or Saturday, January 2 at 11:00am. There will be one re-entry allowed per flight during the late registration period, which is 12 levels. Players will begin with 50,000 in non-value tournament chips and levels will last 40 minutes throughout. Day 2 will be on Sunday, January 3 where players will play down to the final eight players. The final eight players will resume on Monday, January 4 and continue until a winner has been determined.

Player of the Series
Players can accumulate points throughout the series by earning prize money. The WSOP Circuit model will be used to award points, and a Leaderboard will be implemented to track all points earners. The winner of the Leaderboard will be awarded a seat into the 2021 $10,000 WSOP Main Event.

Safety Protocols
Main Event Mania poker tournament at Bally’s Las Vegas will be played eight-handed with Plexiglas dividers. Bally’s Las Vegas has implemented Caesars’ new health and safety protocols, which enhance its existing plans and practices in these areas. All Caesars properties are focused on the well-being of team members, guests and the community, and continue to work to create an environment with high standards of sanitization and physical distancing practices.

Among the enhanced health and safety protocols include more frequent cleaning and sanitization. Caesars has also implemented a health screening program for all employees. Team members and guests are required to wear masks, which the Company makes available, at all Caesars properties.
