WSOP Circuit tour heads to The Bicycle Casino, near Los Angles for another gold-ring series.
28 November 2019 (Bell Gardens, Calif.) -- It is Thanksgiving Day and another World Series of Poker tournament series is approaching in a couple days. Another Harrah's Cherokee Circuit begins today, but this article will be highlighting some West-Coast action and the first Circuit of 2018-2019 season at The Bicycle Casino near Los Angeles.
The Bike Circuit series will hand out 13 gold rings within 12-days and features $690,000 in guaranteed prize money. November 30th marks the first day of the series as well as the first ring event. Event #1: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack has a $75,000 guarantee.
Come Monday, December 2nd, action heightens with the Multi-Flight Monster Stack. There is a $250,000 guarantee attached to Event #5: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack, which entails four separated Day 1s. Starting flights are scheduled for 10:00 am and 4:00 pm on both Monday and Tuesday. Direct buy ins will be available before the start of Day 2 on Wednesday when a Monster Stack Champion will be deemed.
The only other multi-flight tournament of The Bike series is Event #10: $1,700 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event, beginning December 8th. The Bike Main Event reigning Champion is seven-time gold ring winner Sean Yu who scooped up $210,585 by outmatching 677 opponents back in March.
Another prestigious ring event will occur alongside Day 2 of the Main Event on December 10th. The $3,250 buy-in High Roller is a two-day competition with a $200,000 guarantee.
The winner of the Main Event and the Casino Champion will earn a seat to the 2020 Global Casino Championship. There they will compete a coveted gold bracelet. To become the Casino Champion a player must earn the most points at a given Circuit stop. Players earn points based on how well they finish in a tournament.
