PLANET HOLLYWOOD CIRCUIT STOP BEGINS ON THURSDAY
Planet Hollywood hosts the next WSOP Circuit stop with 13 official gold ring events
Las Vegas, NV (November 13, 2019) - The next stop on the World Series of Poker Circuit starts on Friday, November 15 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. This is one of 33 stops on the US Circuit, with 13 official gold ring events along with unofficial ring events such as the Tag Team tournament, a Seniors' Event and a Casino Employee Event to wrap things up at the end of the stop.
As always, two Global Casino Championship seats are up for grabs for the winner of the Main Event along with the Casino Champion, being the player with the most points collected in official ring events at this stop. The $1,700 Main Event will have two starting flights and one re-entry available per flight. This will run from Saturday, November 23 through Tuesday, November 26. Just one year ago, Travis Dorsey topped a field of 518 entries and took home the largest chunk of the $784,770 prize pool, earning $168,722 and his third Circuit ring in three days. This year's Main Event boasts a whopping $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. The $2,200 High Roller guarantees $200,000 in the prize pool and runs across two days beginning on Monday, November 25.
Other highlights within this stop include a couple of multi-flight events to kick off the first two tournaments of the stop, with $75,000 guaranteed in Event #1: $250 No-Limit Hold'em and $100,000 guaranteed in Event #2: $400 No-Limit Hold'em. Both events have three starting flights in one day, and will both conclude on Day 2 to crown a champion. There is something for everyone at this stop, with a Bounty event, some four-card action with Pot-Limit Omaha and a Six-Handed event for those looking for some more action. The much-anticipated $400 Monster Stack is scheduled for November 21 and will play out across two days with $100,000 guaranteed in the prize pool.
