12 November 2018 (Las Vegas) - On Wednesday, the World Series of Poker Circuit returns to Planet Hollywood on the Las Vegas strip. Planet Hollywood traditionally hosts one of the most popular stops on the Circuit schedule, and this year will likely be no different, as the schedule is packed from the opening weekend through the Main Event.

The series kicks off with a historic first on the WSOP Circuit - the $250 Casino Employees event. Modeled after the traditional opening event at the WSOP every summer, this tournament will be open to anyone who works for a casino. 

The first open event begins the following day. Event #2 features six starting flights (two each on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) of a $600 no-limit hold'em tournament with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool. Other highlights include the $500  double-stack no-limit hold'em with a big-blind ante (Tuesday, November 20), The ever-popular Monster Stack event (Friday, November 23), and a pair of single day events on Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day. 

The $1,700 Main Event has two starting flights, on November 24 and 25, and carries a $500,000 guarantee. The on November 26, the $2,200 high roller gets underway. Both events are scheduled to wrap up on Tuesday, Nov 27.

The series will send two automatic qualifiers to next years WSOP Global Casino Championship - the Main Event winner and the Casino Champion will earn free seats into the $1,000,000 tournament.
