Day 3 of Main Event and Day 2 of High Roller Event Highlight Monday at Foxwoods

  Sunday Recap:

Event #10: $1,675 No-Limit Hold'em  **DAY 2**

A total of 80 players returned today for Day 2.  They reached the money when 54 players remained, and the unofficial final table of ten was reached in Level 24 near the end of the night. After Level 25, only eight players remained.  Those players bagged up their chips and will return tomorrow at noon Eastern Time to play down to a winner.  Johanssy Joseph and Jeremy Meacham still remain in the field, and both of these players also final tabled this same Main Event last year here at Foxwoods.  

Muhammad Abdel-Rahim leads the remaining eight players coming into Day 3.  Here is a look at all of the players chip stacks:

Event #11: $3,250 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller

The high roller event has seen a total of 37 entries so far, but registration is open until the start of play on Day 2, so that number may increase.  Over the course of Day one this event saw a steady stream of recognizable names.  By the end of 12 levels of play, 10 players bagged up chips at the end of Day 1.Soukha Kachittavong bagged the end of day chip lead with 158,100. Rounding out the top three are Zach Donovan (152,000), and the current world champion Joe McKeehen (145,600).

Day 2 begins at 2:00 pm tomorrow, and will resume at Level 13 (800/1,600 blinds with a 200 ante). All prizepool information will be posted after registration closes.
