WSOP CIRCUITFrom Regional Start to Worldwide Future

WSOP Circuit Rings

Unlike the bracelets won by poker players during the WSOP, the WSOP Circuit bestows winners with a different kind of jewelry: WSOP Circuit rings.
Made by Jostens Inc., the same company that creates championship rings for the NFL and MLB, WSOP Circuit rings not only represent inclusion in the Circuit’s list of champions, but also represent an invitation to compete with fellow winners at the WSOP Circuit Championship.
Engraved with the name of the host property as well as the specific event a player has won, WSOP Circuit rings are proudly worn by poker players around the world, displaying their remarkable achievements on the felt.
From First Deal to World Fame
Many of the world’s most famous and successful poker players have gotten their start competing in WSOP Circuit events.
Famously, three-time WSOP bracelet winner Alex Foxen won the very first WSOP Circuit event he had ever entered during the Harrah’s (now Caesars) New Orleans WSOP Circuit series in 2012.
Before he was one of the best players in the world, three-time bracelet winner Alex Foxen won the very first WSOP Circuit event he played at Harrah’s New Orleans in 2012.

The Race for the All-Time WSOP Circuit Ring lead

Many poker players dream of one day winning a WSOP Circuit ring and joining the exclusive club of WSOP Circuit champions, with some of the Circuit’s best players not only winning multiple rings but making history in the process.
Holding the record for all-time WSOP Circuit victories for many years, WSOP Circuit great Maurice Hawkins was joined by Ari Engel at the top of the rankings in 2025.
Winning two events during a WSOP Circuit series at Caesars New Orleans in the August of 2025, Hawkins reclaimed his stand-alone spot as the all-time WSOP Circuit ring leader, and became the first player to surpass 20 WSOP Circuit victories.

WSOP Circuit Championship - Tournament of Champions

The finale of the WSOP Circuit every year, the annual WSOP Circuit Championship hosts recent WSOP event winners for a freeroll offering at least $1 million in prize money, the only annual freeroll poker event of its kind. In its history, the WSOP Circuit Championship has gone by a number of names, including the Circuit National Championship, the Global Casino Championship, and most famously the Tournament of Champions.
Along with a variety of titles, the WSOP Circuit Championship has also been hosted by a number of famous casinos and properties, and some of poker’s all-time greats have even won the event.
In 2005, the Tournament of Champions was held at Caesars Palace, and was won by four-time WSOP bracelet winner Mike Matusow.
2006 would see the Tournament of Champions return to the Rio, and would be won by Poker Hall of Fame inductee Mike Sexton.
After a three-year hiatus, the Tournament of Champions was hosted once again at the Rio in 2010, with 1997 WSOP Main Event champion Huck Seed winning the event to add another achievement to his list of poker accolades.
Undergoing another hiatus, this time for 11 years, the WSOP announced not only the return of the Tournament of Champions, but also elevated its status by awarding the winner with the first bracelet of the 2022 WSOP.
In 2022 and 2023, the WSOP Tournament of Champions served as the first bracelet event of the summer WSOP, before Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, California, served as host for the event in 2024 and 2025.
