Veerachai Vongxaiburana raised to 700,000 on the button before Phil Hui three-bet to 2,100,000 in the big blind. Vongxaiburana called, and the 2♥9♥J♥flop was revealed.

Both players checked to see the 10♦ turn, where another pair of checks led to the 5♦
river.

Hui led out for 1,000,000, taking down the pot as Vongxaiburana sent his cards to the dealer.

Hui Scoops Vongxaiburana

After trading small pots over the last several minutes, Phil Hui limped on the button and Veerachai Vongxaiburana checked in the big blind.

The dealer fanned out the 5♣3♠8♣flop, and both players checked ot see the 9♠turn. Vongxaiburana led out for 500,000 and Hui called.

Another pair of checks followed the 7♦ river. Vongxaiburana announced aces, while Hui tabled K♠8♠7♠4♠2♦for two pair and the best low, scooping to move back into the lead.

Hui Scoops a Doubles on the River

Phil Hui bet 300,000 from the button on a flop of A♠5♥9♥ and Veerachai Vongxaiburana raised to 1,800,000. Hui then moved all in for 4,975,000 and Vongxaiburana called.

Hui had top pair and the nut flush draw, while Vongxaiburana had flopped a set. The turn was the 7♠, while the 8♥ river gave Hui his flush and a low to scoop the pot and earn a double up.
