Nick Schulman Secures Seventh Bracelet in Event #30: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw Championship ($497,356)

After a back-and-forth heads-up battle of nearly eight hours, Nick Schulman overcame Darren Elias to win his seventh WSOP bracelet, three of which have come from this event, and $497,356 in prize money.

Nick Schulman raised to 600,000 on the button, and Darren Elias moved all in from the big blind for about 4,000,000. Schulman quickly called, remaining pat after Elias had drawn one card.

Three Shoves Go Uncalled

he received. Elias jack-low remained best, and he doubled to regain a slight lead.

Elias Shoves on Schulman

Before the hand, a dispute arose over whether Darren Elias had put in enough for the small blind and if Nick Schulman had done so the previous hand. "I don't even remember who won the last hand," Schulman said, suggesting that the long hours may be taking their toll.

After the dispute was settled and the amounts confirmed, Elias raised to 500,000 and Schulman called. Schulman took two while Elias stood pat and bet another 500,000. Schulman quickly folded.

Elias Sniffs Out a Bluff to Retake the Lead
