2026 World Series of Poker

I'm a recreational player. I did not play last summer. I don't know every current rule. Yesterday in the $1700 buy in tournament, I faced a river bet that covers my remaining stack on the board 25674 which wasn't so friendly to my AA. 323 of the 324 players will cash. We were not hand for hand yet. I didn't know who gets paid if two players busted in this hand. So I called the floor to ask. Jim, the floor person came in very a hostile attitude accusing me of stalling the game. The player on my left told Jim nobody called the clock. Jim said "But he's stalling!" I said I just wanted to know the rule in this situation. Even my opponent had class. He didn't time pressure me. I AM THE ONE WHO CALLED THE FLOOR. It's so sick that the floor just came with ill assumption.

For starters, I’ve always been a big supporter of the WSOP having attended over 20 years. I’m beyond disappointed what it has become. I played the $1,700 Circuit Main yesterday. The first 3 dealers couldn’t speak English, had zero dealing experience and immediately threw myself and others on tilt watching them fumble around with the cards. We got 7 hands dealt in 40 minutes. I had planned on playing 8-10 WSOP events this summer including The Monster Stack, Seniors etc..Now I’m asking myself why would I torture myself further when so many other viable options exist. PLEASE FIX YOUR BROKEN PRODUCT. You owe it to your loyal customers Jack.
