@David Coleman

Wins Event #8: $125,000 Triton NLH 7-Handed for $3,113,000

“A long few days.” Those were the first words out of David Coleman’s mouth along with a deep sigh of relief and gratitude after capturing his first Triton title and WSOP gold bracelet.

Coleman outlasted a field of 99 entries to take home the first-place prize of $3,113,000, his largest ever payday. A tough field and an even tougher final table accumulated to a heads-up match with

@Dominykas Mikolaitis

where Coleman always one foot ahead of his opponent.

After starting the final table with a big chip lead, Coleman started to feel things slipping away until an epic collision with Brandon Wilson with just four players remaining. That sent the momentum in Coleman’s direction as he never looked back again.

“Very grateful to be here and to be able to play in these tournaments,” Coleman said after his victory. “What a run I’m on. I feel like I’m the luckiest guy in poker.”
