Zavorotnijs Racks Up Double Knockout

Amir Mirrasouli and Upeshka Desilva were both all-in and at risk against Vitalijs Zavorotnijs, who had both covered as they went to a showdown.

Amir Mirrasouli: Q♠9♣ All in
Upeshka Desilva: J♠8♠ All in
Vitalijs Zavorotnijs: A♠8♦

Zavorotnijs outflopped the pack when it came 9♦A♥5♠ to give him a pair of aces, yet Mirrasouli was still alive with a pair of nines despite the deficit.

Desilva found some hope on the J♣ turn, but the 3♦ river was the final card Mirrasouli and Desilva would see in the tournament.

Wei Falls to Vasylchenko

The table folded to Kaiwen Wei in the small blind, and he elected to raise to 485,000, leaving only 15,000 in chips behind.

Oleg Vasylchenko in the big blind chose to jam to force Wei all in. Wei took one minute before he decided to put in his final chip and put himself at risk.

Kaiwen Wei: Q♥2♥All in
Oleg Vasylchenko: J♣3♣

The flop was safe for Wei when it came 4♠4♦3♥, but the turn was not so friendly as the J♦ flipped over.

The 9♣ did not save Wei as he exited the tournament.

Miller Sent Packing

Arieori Miller was the first to act and raised to 230,000, leaving only 50,000 in chips behind. It folded to Fabiano Kovalski, who chose to call from the button. Upeshka Desilva in the small blind, and Guillermo Lopez in the big blind came along to create a four-way pot as they headed to a flop.

Desilva, Lopez, and Miller checked the 3♠4♥J♥ flop. Kovalski opted to bet 200,000, which led to folds from Desilva and Lopez. Miller put in his final 50,000 to go to a showdown at risk.

Arieori Miller: K♦8♠ All in
Fabiano Kovalski: A♣8♥

Kovalski had Miller in a bad spot despite neither player connecting strongly with the flop.

The 6♣ turn was neither here nor there, and the 5♣ river completed the board as Kovalski took down the pot with ace high to eliminate Miller.

Marques Misses Two Bounties

Amir Mirrasouli was all in for his last 395,000, at risk against Pedro Marques.

Amir Mirrasouli: A♣10♣ All in
Pedro Marques: K♠Q♥

Mirrasouli remained in front the entire way, improving on the 7♥3♦6♣A♦5♠runout to double through Marques.

On the next hand, Daewoong Song shoved his stack of 565,000 in the cutoff, and Marques called in the big blind.

Daewoong Song: K♦10♣ All in
Pedro Marques: A♦10♠

Song was trailing until the 4♥K♥K♣ flop, hitting trip kings to take the lead. The 7♠turn and 3♥ river left Marquez missing out on another bounty chance, as Song got the double.

Dan Stavila jammed from the cutoff for 210,000 and was called in the small blind by Zheyu Weng to put Stavila at risk.

Dan Stavila: Q♥10♣All in
