Las Vegas, Nevada (September 2, 2025) - Returning in full force to the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit schedule, yesterday, Caesars New Orleans wrapped up their first WSOP Circuit series in six years.

Hosting 18 WSOP Circuit ring events, Caesars New Orleans not only generated over $2 million in combined prize pools, but also facilitated WSOP Circuit history.

Winning the biggest prize of them all, Mississippi grinder Yousef Saleh emerged victorious in the $1,700 WSOP Circuit Main Event at Caesars New Orleans, securing his second WSOP Circuit ring and adding $149,268 to his bankroll.

Defeating Kane Keller heads-up in the Circuit Main Event, Saleh not only achieved the largest score of his poker career, but won free entry to the $5 million GTD WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty at WSOP Paradise 2025, and a $5,000 package to fund his stay at Atlantis Bahamas.

Maurice Hawkins breaks all-time WSOP Circuit ring record

Breaking his long-standing tie with Ari Engel for the all-time record for WSOP Circuit ring victories, Maurice Hawkins pulled away from Engel by not just winning one event at Caesars New Orleans, but two.

Finishing in first place in both the $600 Pot-Limit Omaha event ($14,548 prize) and a $400 No-Limit Hold’em event ($12,996 prize), Hawkins received WSOP Circuit rings #20 and #21 to become the stand-alone all-time record holder and be the first player to reach 20 WSOP Circuit rings.

Finishing in second place in the $400 No-Limit Hold’em Grand Master 40/40/40 tournament to Heath Pender, Hawkins nearly pulled off the incredible feat of winning three rings in a single WSOP Circuit series and furthering his all-time lead even more.

Taking down a $400 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em tournament at Caesars New Orleans ($10,961 first place prize), WSOP Circuit grinder Connor Steinbrook continued his impressive 2025 tournament campaign, winning his third WSOP Circuit ring of 2025.

Adding a third ring to a collection that includes wins from Tunica and Cherokee, Steinbrook continues to quickly make a name for himself on the WSOP Circuit.

Seville Hale leaves New Orleans with 2 WSOP Circuit rings

Joining Hawkins as a fellow double-ring winner at Caesars New Orleans, Seville Hale won the first two WSOP Circuit rings of his career in two $400 No-Limit Hold’em events, receiving $45,572 and $14,826 for his efforts.

Hailing from Cantonment, Florida, Hale will be taking his first pieces of WSOP hardware and over $50,000 in cash back to The Sunshine State.

Each WSOP Circuit ring winner from Caesars New Orleans receives free entry to the $2,750 buy-in WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty ($5M guaranteed prize pool) taking place at WSOP Paradise 2025 December 4-6, 2025. Along with free entry to the WSOP Circuit Championship, ring winners also receive a $5,000 hotel package to fund their stay at the host property: Atlantis Bahamas.
