WSOP CIRCUIT SERIES BEGINS AT HORSESHOE BALTIMORE

Las Vegas, Nevada (October 2, 2025) - As the WSOP Circuit continues Part 2 of its 2025 campaign, poker players around the United States and the world are not only winning major scores and WSOP Circuit rings, but are punching their ticket to one of the biggest poker events of the year.
Today, the first of 18 WSOP Circuit ring events begins at Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, where players will compete not only for WSOP glory, but a seat in the $5 million guaranteed WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty, plus a package to fund their stay at Atlantis Paradise for WSOP Paradise 2025.
The featured event of every WSOP Circuit series, the $1,700 WSOP Circuit Main Event, is scheduled to offer three Day One flights on Thursday, October 9, Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11.
The defending WSOP Circuit Main Event champion at Horseshoe Baltimore, WSOP Circuit legend Maurice Hawkins defeated Dan Chalifour to not only win the $140,752 top prize but also extend his WSOP Circuit ring total to 18 (now 21).
Adding to what is already an exciting WSOP Circuit Main Event at Horseshoe Baltimore, Ed Norris and Jeremy Conn, two popular DJs from Baltimore’s 105.7 FM The Fan radio station, will be competing in Flight A of the tournament, each player offering a $1,057 bounty for any player who can eliminate them.
While the WSOP Circuit Main Event certainly draws attention, the staff at Horseshoe Baltimore looks to bring mixed games back to the property, offering PLO, PLO8, and H.O.R.S.E ring and side events throughout the series.
Sunday parking at Horseshoe Baltimore, which charges $100 on account of the hometown NFL team, the Baltimore Ravens, playing close by at M&T Bank Stadium during the series, can provide even more value to WSOP Circuit players.
Competitors who pay the $100 to park at Horseshoe Baltimore on Sundays during the series can bring their parking ticket to tournament staff and use it to pay $100 towards WSOP Circuit events, essentially validating their parking for free.
Every WSOP Circuit ring winner at Horseshoe Baltimore will win a special package to attend WSOP Paradise 2025 in the Bahamas, taking place December 4th through the 18th.
Along with entry to the $2,500 WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty, WSOP Circuit ring winners also receive an Atlantis Bahamas hotel package to fund their stay.
The official Circuit Media Partner of the WSOP, Poker.Org, will be on-site providing full coverage throughout the series in Baltimore.
