WSOP CIRCUIT PLAYERS RETURN TO HARRAH'S CHEROKEE CASINO RESORT IN NORTH CAROLINA

For the final time prior to the 2025 World Series of Poker, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in North Carolina hosts the WSOP Circuit with 18 ring events featuring over $3.7 million in prize pool guarantees.
Las Vegas, Nevada (April 28, 2025) - As the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) draws closer and closer, the WSOP Circuit makes its way to Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort, helping wind down the 2024/25 tour.
Consistently running the largest tournament series on the WSOP Circuit, Cherokee Casino Resort is set to host 18 WSOP Circuit ring events from Thursday, May 1 through Monday, May 12, 2025.
Highlighted by the signature $1,700 buy-in WSOP Circuit Main Event with a $1 million prize pool guarantee, the upcoming series at Cherokee boasts over $3.7 million in guarantees across all ring events.
Offering two Day One flights scheduled for Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th, the $1,700 Main Event will welcome players back for the tournament’s Day Two on Sunday, May 11th, and play down to a winner on Monday, May 12th.
At the last Cherokee WSOP Circuit series in February, Florian Pesce won $368,380 and his lone career WSOP Circuit ring in the series’ Main Event.
Complementing the Circuit Main Event on Cherokee’s series schedule, the popular $400 Mini-Main tournament is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 through Sunday, May 4 offering five flights plus a $750,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Along with the Mini Main, Cherokee’s upcoming WSOP Circuit series will also be running a $2,200 buy-in High Roller event Sunday, May 11 through Monday, May 12, which features a $100,000 prize pool guarantee.
Every ring winner at the WSOPC series at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort receives a seat in the prestigious WSOP Tournament of Champions, a $1,000,000 freeroll that is also eligible to 2024/25 live and online bracelet winners.
The 2025 Tournament of Champions returns to Commerce Casino in Los Angeles and takes place Thursday, May 15 through Saturday, May 17. The Tournament of Champions will be the featured event in a full WSOP Circuit series, with 18 ring events scheduled for Thursday, May 8 through Saturday, May 24.
