WSOP ADDS LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP TO 2026 WSOP EUROPE SCHEDULE IN PRAGUE

Las Vegas, Nevada (February 4, 2026) – The World Series of Poker (WSOP®) today announced a major addition to the highly anticipated 2026 WSOP Europe schedule. Hosted for the first time in Prague, the festival will feature a €1,000 Ladies Championship, set to take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
This new event reinforces the WSOP’s commitment to growing the game and providing premier competitive opportunities for women on the world’s biggest poker stages. The Ladies Championship is strictly open to female participants and will be a highlight of the record-breaking action of the 2026 series, which is headlined by the historic €10,000,000-guaranteed WSOP Europe Main Event.
The stakes for this championship go beyond the prize pool. The WSOP has confirmed that the winner will receive a coveted WSOP gold bracelet, designed exclusively for Ladies Events. Distinguished from the standard bracelet, this unique piece of hardware features a custom setting with additional gemstones, marking it as a singular achievement in the world of poker.
“As we enter a new era for WSOP Europe in Prague, it was essential that our schedule reflected the full spectrum of the poker community,” said Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP. “The Ladies Championship is always one of the most spirited and competitive environments of the summer in Las Vegas, and we are thrilled to bring that same energy and prestige to the heart of Europe. We want this to be the definitive Ladies Event on the continent.”
