THUNDER VALLEY RUNS 18 WSOP CIRCUIT EVENTS FROM JANUARY 15-26
Las Vegas, Nevada (January 14th, 2025) - Tomorrow, January 15, 2026, Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California, hosts the first of 18 WSOP Circuit ring events set to take place at the property through January 26th.
A popular destination amongst WSOP Circuit grinders, Thunder Valley Casino Resort welcomes the WSOP Circuit back to Northern California for the first time in 2026.
While a total of 18 WSOP Circuit rings are set to be awarded at Thunder Valley, all eyes are on the $1,700 buy-in, $500,000 guaranteed WSOP Circuit Main Event, which runs two Day One flights scheduled for Friday, January 23rd, and Saturday, January 24th, with both flights starting at 11 AM local time.
The last time the WSOP Circuit made its way through Thunder Valley, popular German poker player Rayo Kniep emerged victorious, winning his second career WSOP Circuit ring, along with the $185,458 first-place prize.
Along with the WSOP Circuit Main Event, several favorites amongst Circuit grinders are also set to take place at Thunder Valley.
The No-Limit Hold’em Opener, a $400 buy-in tournament with an impressive $250,000 prize pool guarantee, offers four Day One flights running from Thursday, January 15th, through Saturday, January 17th.
An event popular amongst poker players who love starting deep stacked, the $400 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Monster Stack boasts a $100,000 prize pool guarantee, and has two Day One flights, both running on Wednesday, January 21st at 10 AM and 3 PM local time.
