THE CIRCUIT IS HEADED TO CHEROKEE
All 12 gold ring events have a guaranteed prizepool, including the $1 million guaranteed Main Event.
Cherokee, N.C. (April 11, 2016) -- The WSOP Circuit is headed back to Harrah's Cherokee for the second time this season and it is bringing back the big guarantees. The first stop of the season was last November and high stakes poker pro, Dan Weinman, took down the $1 million guaranteed Main Event for more than $280k.
This series features 12 gold ring events and over $2.1 million in guaranteed prize money. The Main Event has a $1 million guaranteed prizepool again. The opening weekend’s re-entry event has the second largest guarantee of the series. The re-entry features four starting flights, unlimited re-entry and a massive $500,000 guaranteed prizepool.
Another featured event is the monster stack. This event has a $365 buy-in and a $150,000 guaranteed prizepool. The monster stack is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 20.
Harrah’s Cherokee has been one of the most popular stops on the Circuit in the past couple of years. The 2016 Global Casino Championship will be held at Harrah’s Cherokee from August 9-11 and it will also serve as the first Circuit stop of the 2016-2017 Circuit season.
