THAT'S A WRAP ON PBKC -- RECAP THE ACTION
Sep 21 2015 11:07 AM EST

The World Series of Poker Circuit at the Palm Beach Kennel Club in West Palm Beach, Fla. concluded Monday evening with the crowning of the Main Event champion. The series-closing event drew a field of 393 entries marking a year-over-year attendance increase of nearly 30 percent. Following four days of play, it was Ohio's Peter Vitantonio who donned the tournament's top spot, took home a $129,685 first prize and punched his ticket to the WSOP Global Casino Championship.
Joining Vitantonio at the season-ending event will be fellow PBKC standout and Plant City, Fla. resident John Vale. Vale recorded first-, fourth-, two eighth-place finishes and a ninth-place finish totaling 127.5 points. The impressive performance not only earned him the property's Casino Champion title, but it puts him at the top of the at-large points leaderboard through four stops.
A closer look at Vale's title will be posted later this week in the Casino Champion profile.
