POKER HALL OF FAME FINALISTS UNVEILED BY THE WORLD SERIES OF POKER

The World Series of Poker has announced the finalists for the 2025 Poker Hall of Fame Inductee, with the newest Poker Hall of Fame member set to be announced during the $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold’em bracelet event on Saturday, July 12.

POKER HALL OF FAME FINALISTS UNVEILED BY THE WORLD SERIES OF POKER

The 2025 Poker Hall of Fame Inductee will be announced during WSOP Event #92: $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold’em tournament on Friday, July 11.

Las Vegas, Nevada (June 17, 2025) – The World Series of Poker (WSOP®) today announced the 10 poker legends that are being considered for induction into the Poker Hall of Fame for 2025. One new member is inducted annually, as determined by the living Hall of Fame members via ballot.

The players being considered for induction in 2025 are: 

  • Jeremy Ausmus
  • "Miami" John Cernuto
  • Ted Forrest
  • Phil Galfond (40 years old)
  • Kathy Liebert
  • Mike Matusow
  • Matt Savage
  • Isai Scheinberg
  • Nick Schulman (40 years old)
  • Scott Seiver (40 years old)

The new Hall of Fame inductee will be announced publicly just ahead of the start of WSOP Event #92: $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold’em, hosted at the Horsehoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas on the iconic Las Vegas Strip. All living Poker Hall of Fame members are invited to participate for free in Event #92, with bounties paid to the players who eliminate them from the tournament; each Hall of Famer’s bounty amount will correspond to their induction year. 

The new inductee’s official photograph will also be added to the walls of the WSOP Hall of Fame Poker Room at Horseshoe Las Vegas.
