NICHOLAS WILBUR LEADS CAESARS PALACE MAIN EVENT GOING INTO FINAL DAY
Las Vegas, NV (January 30, 2012) – The World Caesars of Poker Circuit currently taking place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is winding down to an exciting conclusion.

The final table of the Main Event Championship will be played on Monday.  Action is expected to commence sometime during the late afternoon (PST).  A live stream of the final table will be shown from start to finish here at WSOP.com.  Action can be seen here.

The Main Event (officially listed as Event #10) is a four-day $1,500 (+100) No-Limit Hold’em tournament, which attracted 662 entrants.  There were two starting flights held over two separate days.

Play began on Friday at noon and is expected to conclude sometime on Monday night.  The total prize pool came to just shy of a million dollars -- at $963,210.  The top 72 finishers are to be paid.  All players who cash receive WSOP Circuit National Championship ranking points – used to potentially qualify for a seat in the season-ending championship, to be played in Las Vegas.

A full list of all players who cashed in Event #10 (so far) can be seen at WSOP.COM

The two starting days resulted in the elimination of much of the field.  There were only 133 survivors who resumed action on Day Two.  After another 12 hours of play, the field was trimmed even further on Sunday, which is now down to 15 players who will return for the final playing session on Monday.
