For the first time in poker history, all of the four primary staff positions in a major poker tournament were held by women. At the recently-concluded World Series of Poker Circuit tournament at Grand Tunica Casino-Resort (Tunica, MS) the following persons served as staff.

Janis Sexton -- Tournament Director
Karen Kaegin -- Poker Room Manager
Sue Phillips -- Dealer Coordinator
Dixie Lindsey -- Payout Officer

It should be noted that Janis Sexton is the first female Tournament Director in the 38-year history of the World Series of Poker. She will serve in this role in upcoming WSOP Circuit events.

DEREK SEIN-LWIN WINS FINAL 2025 WSOPC MAIN EVENT TITLE AT CHEROKEE

While 18 WSOP Circuit rings were bestowed upon players throughout the series, Derek Sein-Lwin won the biggest prize of them all, taking down the $1,700 Cherokee WSOP Circuit Main Event for $281,514 and his first WSOP Circuit ring.
