Over the course of three Day One flights and six days of exciting No-Limit Hold’em action, Canadian Mayukh Chakraborty keeps the WSOP Super Circuit Canada Main Event title in its home country, outlasting 2,844 total entries to win the lion’s share of the record-breaking CA $12,689,928 prize pool.

CA $1,500,000 richer and now in possession of his first WSOP Circuit ring, Mayukh Chakraborty also owns one of the most prestigious titles ever offered along the WSOP Circuit, defeating a final table that included four-time WSOP bracelet winner Chance Kornuth and runner-up Benjamin Veenstra.

While the WSOP Super Circuit Canada CA $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event stole the show by setting a new record for the largest poker tournament ever held in Canada, Playground Casino would serve as host to even more records set during the series.

Along with setting a new record for the largest poker tournament in Canadian history, the first-ever WSOP Super Circuit Canada also set records for the largest series overall in terms of prize pool guarantees and the largest total entry for a tournament in Playground history, with the CA $500 No-Limit Hold’em Mini Main Event drawing a total of 3,484 entrants.

The WSOP Super Circuit Continues in The Czech Republic

Earlier this week, as poker players were battling it out at Playground, players in the Czech Republic, as well as the Dominican Republic, got excited for the next chapters of the WSOP Super Circuit.

From October 28 through November 11, 2026, the WSOP returns to King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, for the first-ever WSOP Super Circuit KINGS.

After WSOP Paradise 2026 helps poker players conclude the year, Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, will help ring in 2027 with the first-ever WSOP Super Circuit LATAM, taking place January 24 through February 2, 2027.
