HORSESHOE HAMMOND DAY 2 CIRCUIT UPDATES
Hammond, Ind. (October 16, 2015) — Day 2 of the Horseshoe Casino’s World Series of Poker Circuit event began Friday at noon CT. The second of two starting flights in Event #1, a $365 re-entry tournament with nine $1,675 Main Event seats added, consumed all the day’s action as 675 hopefuls turned out to the Chicago area felt. As is, the two-flight field stands at 1,211 entries with tomorrow's Flight C still to come. The last of the starting flights is expected to be the largest and will almost surely surge the field well past 2,000 entries.
Friday is winding down as Flight B has just about 150 players remaining and only about 90 minutes of play left on the Day 1 schedule. With that, we are heading home for the evening, but it won’t be long before we’re back in action starting up at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with an $80 Early Bird turbo.
