HARRAH'S ATLANTIC CITY KICKS OFF WSOP CIRCUIT SERIES

Las Vegas, Nevada (August 13, 2026) - The World Series of Poker Circuit returns to one of the most historic gambling cities in North America.
The Harrah’s Atlantic City WSOP Circuit series begins today, kicking off nearly two weeks of tournament poker along the Jersey Shore. The 2026 WSOP Circuit stop runs through August 24 and features 18 WSOP Circuit events, giving players opportunities to compete for WSOP Circuit rings across a variety of buy-ins and tournament formats.
18 opportunities for WSOP Circuit glory in Atlantic City
The series gets underway today with the $400 No-Limit Hold’em 30K Opener featuring a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool. The opening day also sees the beginning of a staple event along the WSOP Circuit, the $500 Mini Main No-Limit Hold’em tournament carrying a $300,000 guarantee. The Mini Main will feature five starting flights running through Saturday, August 15, providing plenty of chances for players to enter one of the series’ biggest low-buy-in events.
The early portion of the schedule offers something for nearly every type of tournament player. Poker players who prefer a fast pace can seek out the $400 Turbo No-Limit Hold’em tournament with a $25,000 guarantee, while this Sunday features the $400 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em event with a $75,000 guarantee for players age 50 and older.
Players looking for a deeper-structured tournament will have their opportunity in the $400 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold’em event with a $150,000 guaranteed prize pool. Three starting flights are scheduled for August 17 and 18, making it another major attraction during the first half of the series.
The schedule also includes several non-Hold’em options. Players can compete in a $600 Pot-Limit Omaha event as well as the $400 Pot-Limit Big O tournament.
A $2,200 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller is scheduled for August 23, giving higher-stakes players a chance to compete for another Circuit title before the series concludes. The final event is the $400 No-Limit Hold’em Double Stack Closer on August 24, which features a $50,000 guarantee and one last opportunity for players to punch their ticket to WSOP Paradise 2026.
The return to Atlantic City is particularly significant for the WSOP Circuit. Harrah’s was the site of the inaugural Circuit stop in 2005 and remained a regular destination for the tour for many years. The Circuit returned to the property in 2025 following a five-year absence, renewing Atlantic City’s place on the national poker tournament calendar.
With 18 ring events, numerous guarantees and the $600,000-guaranteed Main Event highlighting the schedule, the 2026 WSOP Circuit stop at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City promises nearly two weeks of action-packed tournament poker. As players begin taking their seats today, the race for WSOP Circuit gold in Atlantic City is officially underway.
